Sad to hear. I remember watching him many times on the WPT. I always found him fun to watch and a good player. He always seems to be in a good mood and happy, even when losing.

Guess he can now play against the devil for the souls of the dead (“Spanish train” reference for those unaware of a great poker song by Chris deBurgh)

Hi

It is a sad loss for poker, he was an excellent player with a great profile, but God has us all in this world for a short period of time, each person has a destiny and a purpose in this world.

I didn't know this player. But the number of WSOP bracelets is impressive. It is a pity that he is no longer with us.

He was quite a character, especially in the post-Moneymaker television boom. 52 is far too young, and poker has lost quite a presence.

Condolences to all who knew him.

Six-time WSOP bracelet winner and long-time poker player, Layne Flack was found dead at his home in Las Vegas on Monday afternoon. Layne will definitely be missed by everyone who knew him or knew of him.

Rest in peace, Layne.

Layne Flack, 6-Time WSOP Bracelet Winner, Dead at 52

Can't say I've ever heard of him but it's always uncomfortable when I hear of younger men than me checking out.
