With America being the land of the free for all United States people it is pretty messed up some states and government laws shun the player out of a tournament and that is because we should able to play and not have to worry about the big gov to even be in ouyr personal business like that.

On the otherside allot of people were saying back in the day the reason or possible reasons for getting the poker rooms where shutdown by the police for possibly money laundering, even if that was the problem that should not be a law but a cops duty to fix in my opinion.

Everytime I hear about the casinos andn such around the United States I think well this is America being fair tom Americans and with this kind of momentum we could really see more gambling all over the US not labled out to a few places that kinda sad cause people move to these players just for what are personal freedoms.

Well, that's not the news we were looking for. Maybe tomorrow?

Looks more like we might get 1 (pokerstars) by week's end. The others could be a couple of weeks.

Still not seeing any set dates for PA poker besides for sites saying "As soon as possible"... which is not soon enough!! I did see an article saying Pokerstars was supposed to kick off today as well, but doesn't look like that's happening. I feel like a kid who just found out Santa wasn't coming on Christmas this year

That would be a bad feeling that Santa isn't coming. just be patient soon you will be able to play. I feel so bad for you guys taking poker sites from yas. I know I am glad that it didn't happen to canada . But I believe soon you all will be able to play again on all sites. Casino online would be nice but I don't play at the casinos much so all the best for you all and just be patient it will come.

Read over this weekend PA online poker is now delayed "indefinitely", but all the articles I could find were very vague with little details on reasoning and projected timelines

That's a shame. I do hope everything is running sooner rather than later for all Pennsylvanians.

Now it's "the issues with the peer to peer platforms may take months to resolve to the gaming board's satisfaction".

These are not new platforms though.?. Companies like 888 or Pokerstars can't show a stable, safe, geolocation ready platform to the PCGB? ...Feels fishy, like a half pot donk bet.

I'll set the over/under at Halloween.

This actually gives me the impression they are doing a more thorough evaluation with a technically savvy team. The peer-to-peer aspect of online poker is probably the most vulnerable security risk. I'd expect the other stuff like geo-location to be easy and quick to verify since it's been done already and is less complicated. As much as I want this thing to get rolling again I don't mind waiting if they have identified legitimate concerns / issues. Who knows how closely other states have really looked at these systems.

TLDR: This report says that one may be ready to launch by the end of summer. An earlier report had implied one would be ready to Launch by the end of 2019. That's September 23rd and December 31st respectively. It's still not a date certain, but the window seems to be narrowing a bit.

There are a lot of other states that are going to be looking to Pennsylvania to inform their decision to legalize or not. A botched launch could have cascading effects, so I'm hopeful they roll it out with some fanfare and it's properly supported. A good impression and some positive results could also have a cascading effect.

That's some great news for poker players in the US , and also for all the countries that deal with regulations' obstacles in legalizing online poker :) With some good will , solutions can be found everywhere so as everyone can have access to online poker rooms :) I hope all other states to follow very soon Pensylvania's example

Anyone downloaded and playing yet? I wont get to try till tomorrow. The website doesn't have any announcement so I'm a little skeptical. Where are all the PA players?
