Partypoker has made its now monthly update about its anti-bot efforts, announcing on Wednesday that it closed another 121 bot accounts during the month of July.

To me, it seems like this is a monthly endeavour with partypoker. So, we will likely get another update next month, too!

"Judge sues you judge judges you" that is the story about their anti bot battle....

I’m surprised there are that many. I wonder how much these bots are winning and if players get refunded. I see the amount seized in the story but don’t see other information.

I feel like this is for the masses to swallow...

I like the fact that Partypoker got rid of the HUD programs. Partypoker seems to be setting up in the right direction. I think a player should be able to get hand histories for the hands they played. I think it will help catch cheaters in the game though. As far as bots go glad that they are cracking down on them. I hope they get more of them.

That is probably something, they keep to themselfes to not inform potential cheaters, how they can avoid detection

The TOS obviously has to be enforced and violators kicked out. Given the amounts quoted in the article, which is around 1.000$ per account, it seem, that most of these cheaters have been operating in micro stakes.

At least someone is doing something about it. They need to swing the ban hammer at ACR badly.

Even if it is the tip of the iceberg.....it is still progress.

The sites will get better at identifying the bots.

Eventually they will identify more of the bots faster.

That's awesome news . Scammers that create and use bots will soon understand this job is not profitable and they will quit . Victims take their money back , that's great

They are likely not sharing this information, since it would help cheaters aviod detection
