Another populous state (10 million) which like Pennsylvania will add huge clout to the available pool. It's great, because from a federal perspective, the poker industry was getting no traction, but the state by state process has been fruitful. This surge is already at a point of critical mass so to speak.

No matter the counter-lobbying power which might still exist in NY and California, two things will be accomplished.

A viable self sustaining on-line presence already appears like it has been established. Subsequently, many in those two states will have a strong argument they are being unfairly alienated from a potentially thriving on-line poker community .

good news for poker lovers in Michigan, but I can not understand why in some parents and States are prohibited online poker games and other types of gambling.
It should be released everywhere and who like to play

That might be part of the reason Florida may take their time having online poker legalized.

Make sense, they don't want competition down here, never thought about that before.

Just like marijuana, as more states see that revenue goes up they will legalize. I hope California is next!

This is outstanding news for Michigan. I wish my state would legalize online poker. It's really a ridiculous situation here in the United States. If governments had an idea how much underground play they could be taxing things might change.

I still dream of the day when online poker will return to all US states and players will be able to access the global pool on major sites like partypoker or pokerstars. It will be a huge step for the health of poker everywhere.
