Luke Schwartz is one of those guys I have tried to like - I’ve attempted to see past the general douche-iness but it always recurs and wears thin once more.
It’s a shame. He has real talent, a deep feel for the game and when he is on form is virtually unstoppable. But then his character gets in the way, he has yet the umpteenth cussing meltdown and sympathy goes out the window.
Have no idea why he would try to get in Galfond’s face and imply Galfond would use underhand methods to play him...but like the bad atmosphere that blew up between him and Doug Polk, you can’t help but feel Luke Schwartz is mostly in it to raise his somewhat flagging career/profile.
That said, I love the fact that Phil Galfond is taking on all comers and stacking them up to take on one after another. Who’s knows whether it will be enough to keep his site afloat, but nevertheless I hope he’ll emerge looking like a boss at the end of it.
