I feel it's quite surreal that some live poker rooms are already coming back. Sure, the dividers are a nice part, but so much sharing of chips and cards is why many experts are saying live poker is the last thing to reopen at casinos, even after things like buffets and clubs. I think one step for progress here at poker tables, along with all the other measures commonly found at casinos now, would be a mandated sanitation of hands before and after play plus the requirement of cashing out before leaving the poker room.
I guess during this pandemic we should stay at home and play online it's not smart to visit places where a lot of people are gathering
In my opinion, I would strongly suggest to people I care about, to take your time. If someone plays poker for a living, I get it there is that nagging urge to get back to the tables to make that money - then I say, at what price? I just hope that plans are in place in the case of the second wave of the virus. We will survive this but live in a very different world at the moment.
