This is the first time that PokerStars has hosted an EPT event in Paris, France and the final numbers for the event will likely mean there will be another in the coming years. Knowing that 65 countries are represented in the main event (including France) indicates a huge success for EPT Paris.
Yeah, great attendance with 1,606 entrants in the main event.
Chris Brewer is the definition of run good and already won the $25K high roller a few days ago, then just took down the $50K high roller as well. The bubble just burst minutes ago in the main event. Third in chips at the moment is Niklas Astedt, the online crusher aka Lena900.
Not sure why the EPT always swerved Paris. Of course they stage Monaco each year but that is not France (doh!) and in previous years they used to hold an EPT at Deauville, a beautiful venue on the NW Coast. Just my opinion but they should stage an EPT each year in both London and Paris or they could opt for either Nice and Cannes as glamor location with many
casinos.
