Is it any surprise that Doyle Brunson draws a crowd when he enters the Rio poker room during the wsop? The 88-year-old made his way through the crowd to take his seat in the Super Seniors Event this past weekend. Although he did not last very long once seated, he did hang around a bit to take pictures.

Good morning.I remember when he said in 2018 that it was the last WSOP event in his extraordinary career.Fortunately, it wasn´t true,lol.It is nice to see him playing the game and the events he love again.Maybe the Main Event?.I really hope so.

Its great to see Doyle play in the event. Would have been nice to see a deep run as well. Just good to see the man is alive and well enough to play if he wanted to. Lets be honest, how much longer will he be with us.

Found the report on the Colossus interesting. Yes it down over previous year but considering Covid restrictions on travel and people just staying away this year over it. Then add in the cost to even go and when its happening, They should be grateful to have so many go this year. I wanted to and tried to book it but the cost were so out of the park I did not go and I hate to say it but what I spent going in 2019 to play and the cost this year was well over 4 times what I spent 2 years earlier made it easy to stay home.

Congrats to him , on such an age to keep on playing , even so little , his presense in the WSOP counts , I hope he comes next year and the next year etc . My personal favourite player of all time and someone of whom totally defines the word longevity - hes pure class and for anyone who has not read his super system books - i would recommend them for a long plane flight!
