Is anyone surprised? Not really. It was only a matter of time before New York City would consider adding a casino to the heart of the city. Of course, nothing is written in stone but there has been a proposal presented to build the casino at 1515 Broadway, where the Disney musical 'The Lion King' has called home, in the heart of Times Square. Caesars Entertainment is not the only one that has been eyeing the possibility of a downtown casino, so we will have to stay tuned for updates on the possible project and who actually wins the rights to build.
