Well, as far as I know, in many places it is considered a sport like chess, since you need strategy and patience, it's not just playing, playing, playing.

And they are absolutely right. This is not just gambling, the luck factor is not the most important in the game. It is not casino, is a sport with technique to earn money.

If you're playing against a Brazilian, it's always an adrenaline rush.

Of course, just like every type of game, there is addiction, especially if money is involved. I believe that to be considered a game of chance, it is when the odds of winning are low and it does not depend on the player. in poker, the cards are dealt, distributed and it is up to the player to decide whether or not it is a good hand. poker is a sport, which is practiced all over the world, and not my opinion, it is a game of mind, reasoning, decisions

It's nice when decisions are made by adequate people. People who understand poker. Poker is freedom. There should be no restrictions or prohibitions for poker. I hope that the US authorities will understand this someday

In brazil, the courts have recognized that poker is a game of skill rather than a game of chance. This means that under Brazilian law, poker is not considered a form of gambling, and it is not subject to the same restrictions and regulations as traditional casino games.

The courts have made this determination based on the fact that poker requires a significant amount of skill and strategy to play effectively. Players must use their knowledge of the game, their opponents' behaviors, and the odds of certain hands to make informed decisions.

Additionally, the courts have recognized that chance plays a role in poker, but it is not the dominant factor. Instead, the skill of the player is the primary factor in determining the outcome of the game.

This recognition has led to a growing popularity of poker in Brazil, with many professional players and tournaments now operating within the country. It has also led to calls for further legal recognition and regulation of the game, as players seek to further legitimize and professionalize the industry.

Overall, the recognition of poker as a game of skill in Brazil is an important development for the game, and it highlights the need for legal and regulatory frameworks that accurately reflect the nature of the game.
