All slot machines closed down in Finland due to Coronavirus

A Finnish State owned gaming company called Veikkaus which holds monopoly over all gambling in the country has decided to close down all of its slot machines at least until the end of March.

According to their press release this is done to reduce the risk of spreading the virus, and to safeguard the health of their employees.

Slot machines can be played in most grocery stores, gas stations, kiosks and restaurants, and they offer variety of games from traditional to modern slot games and video poker. There are approximately 15 000 game devices in the country.
