It's just a marketing strategy. If he were guilty, they would have already reported him to the authorities. So much time has passed and no action has been taken in this regard.

Do your homework.

Your comment just shows how naive and uninformed you are
Certainly it happens at micro stakes or low stakes, but you said you remember this happening since 2007... still can't get over it? If it's about those limits, that's fine, unless you think top br players need to do this at some point... look at scoop prizes as an example and think if this happens all the time. Or do you think that brazil being first in the ranking has only to do with the ghost? It may even happen eventually, but think it's a rule... since 2007 playing, get over it pls

Somewhere I saw an article that top pros say that there is evidence, but no one will merge them for 100K. Too cheap.

And now this comment of your's shows you don't have a fk'n clue what I even said (I thought it was pretty straightforward?????)

Where did I say anything about cheating vs. me? or in microstakes? or low stakes?
And yes I can recall cheating allegations from 2007. (so could a ton of other players if you asked them... or you could even make an attempt at Google).

I won't bother to respond to any post of your's again. You've shown me how ridiculous of a person you are, throughout the forum (I've been forewarned by others about you as well). GFY

Jealousy is an ugly monster. Prove the accusations or...get on with it. No one likes a sore loser🤣😆

If its possible to rig a poker game, its probably already happening, by some people, and computers simply follow their programmers commands. You work it out.

Jealousy? What has that got to do with anything?

Are you not aware poker sites have for years banned players after investigating them for Real Time Assistance and collusion?

This is not individuals throwing out wild claims because they were butt hurt. This is the sites themselves policing their members for infractions, but, due to privacy agreements they are left (to date at least) in the position of being unable to confirm who such individuals were.

Hopefully this money will influence someone to do the right thing . Provide proof and prevent cheating. There is obv many bots and cheating rings . It’s good they are making an effort but they can and should do more. It’s obv in these bounty free buy tournaments where they get 8000 runners and those players that pop up out of no shove all in double up or exit ( many only signed up when these bounties started) only play the free entry and I see them go all in with their same country mates and never rebuy. They should track these new players more carefully, maybe they all funnel money to certain accounts . I think it’s odd they only play the free entries, never rebuy and usually go all in or fold. Many if they egret randomly sit out , or get disconnected do it sit back in. (Maybe they are bots that are unable to click the sit back in button) but back to Ali and the 100k. It’s good to see Nagy making such a substantial amount to try and prevent cheating.

I am just happy he is doing something, he ignored the bots and multi-entry cheaters for years.

To be fair they have been very busy adding features like the ability to fling poo at the tables.
Just what we needed, I bet he paid someone a shitload of money to come up with that, he has priorities, flinging poo is more important than a level playing field.

We don't need to speculate. There's been lots written about this guy already.

I think it falls on the players to help by outting the cheaters and provide evidence... and then it's up to the operators to ban them permanently. Part of the difficulty obviously being that some would need to admit their own cheating in the process.

The main forms of cheating taking place in today's MTT games are >>>
- RTA
- Cheating teams - where game is handed off to better player once the person is deep in a tournament (this has been going on for as long as I can remember, right from when I first started to play online poker (2007) with players having been outed)
Nagy has known for a long time that Bots, RTA and Cheating teams exist, none of that affect his profit margins.

I know some higher stakes players that have been collecting evidence and passing it along, and yet Nagy still doesn't act.
RTA & Cheating teams are rife on ACR, nothing will be done.

If he is watching someone live streaming a game and is playing them, it would still count as cheating, and that's a big IF. It would be best to delay the stream by 5 or 10 mins!!
He could be chip dumping to himself, and have more accounts, it's not that hard to do. I could tell anyone how to do it, and not get nailed.

What?
Pretty sure the allegations aren't that he's watching another poker player streaming.

How is watching another player streaming & playing them considered cheating? fwiw, there are MANY players who watch streamers while in the same tournaments, while on the same tables (& they mention it often in the streamer's chat).

I'm pretty sure the streamers understand how long is best to set their delays for (hint: 10mins. is too long).

Why do people claim he is cheating? Does he have high GTO scores?

Ali just released a half assed mea culpa that admitted his cheating but somehow managed to have no real remorse or self awareness. Guy thinks he’s suffered enough consequences and all is good. Wow. Needs to grow up and smell the coffee. He’s done irreparable harm to what was likely a very successful and promising career.

I just wonder how an outsider can prove fraud in online poker, if the poker room itself can not do it. In this case, the poker room has all the IP logs and a lot of specialists.
