It's interesting Video, explaining few things.
As long as we play online, it will be cheaters, just like in live games for past century.

I'm not afraid of anything. Steeper "Dynamic Flop" can not think of anything.

Shooting a video broadcast by another computer and processing the signal with the appropriate algorithm is not fantastic, this idea was expressed on other resources. Poker operators will not determine this program, they will only calculate the bot based on the result of the game in action and the decisions made. Cyber intelligence always recognizes the machine on the other side.

An anonymous poster uploaded a video to YouTube purporting to show a complex online poker cheating system using two computers. The video refers to cheating in heads up sit and go tournaments.

(the video included is 17 minutes)

Yes, there is always going to be someone who puts their knowledge and tech savvy to do the wrong thing. This is human nature, unfortunately. I know this set-up is crazy expensive so as of right now it is being used in high stakes SnG's, this leaves 98.9% of us off the hook:D Like all tech, things get cheaper and easier, I hate to think that online poker may eventually be a thing of the past?????

Could be disinformation to make competing businesses look bad. No doubt people will cheat. Isn't nice to think the opposing players maybe all computer programs playing solved poker on you :(

Its bad news for the sites if their reputations is harmed by recreational players thinking they can't win. So at least good incentives for companies to come down hard on it.

Note well that pro's and reg grinders who aren't cheating don't like cheaters scaring the fish off. Please be nice to the fish! And ALL of us are prey at some point!

Did you read the threads?? Watch the video and understand what is talked about?? Not really following your dis-information theory. The poker sites were not the target of the video and posts. It seems to be accepted the "leaker" (to use the media term in vogue) is a former member of a crew that was using the software set-up. Many sites were used and named?? Maybe I just do not understand what point you are making. This is not about recreational or "fish", how many new players are playing high stakes Heads up SnG's ?? We are talking a minimum of $25000 dollar investment in the set-up and promising 25% of profit to the creator?? This does not affect 99% of players that drive the poker site industry. EDIT: Don't misunderstand this will have longer term effects because once something is "invented" or created it trickles down, there are now "bots" that can be purchased for a couple of hundred dollars but the good sites seem to be able to "catch" them. It is always going to be a thing. Sites will have to do better over-all or lose the industry. But not from this specific story.

I feel bad for the "whistleblower" on this one. When you are able to get video evidence and "1st or 2nd hand" knowledge of the.... ooof. I really feel bad for whomever this is.

There are so many ways to get around this that you don't even need this type of setup. In fact, this setup probably ends up uses too much wattage so the gains must outpace the actual electricity usage at a minimum.

As a given:
1) Online gambling is rigged.
2) If you play online you know that it is rigged.
3) If you get "emotional" over losing online because it's rigged, YOU KNEW.
4) If you want to play real poker and have a good night
a) Play at a casino and get to know the dealers
b) Ask if they are allowed to "host" home games when off hours
c) Pay them to "host" your game for their "fee"
