At least it wasn’t showing the hole cards while hands were live. It’s still a concern but only for the very serious players who would take the time to review all hand histories and make notes and all the players. That said, it certainly could be used to gain an unfair edge and a lawsuit makes sense.

Just rereading the article. It doesn’t say whether she could see everyone’s hole cards regardless of whether they played or folded preflop? I know on pokerstars, after a hand at showdown you have the opportunity to muck your losing hand. If I click the upper left button on my ipad to show previous hand, it shows all players hole cards at showdown regardless if they chose to muck their hand or not. I play on my iPad which she says only happened to her this way. Be interesting to get more details. I’m assuming what I’m seeing is normal and not what she is talking about?

On PokerStars, I can't see the cards that were folded preflop, for sure. In fact, there are a lot of times, I can't see the opponents cards after the hand was completed. This happens on both real money and play money games for me.

This is all I found in the article....
"She found that she could see her opponents’ hole cards in her hand history, regardless of whether players showed their cards."
