2020 WSOP has added an incentive for those playing the $1500 buyin events

The 2020 WSOP has added even more interest to those who are able to play the $1500 buyin events. In a press release, it was noted that 'several' of the events would count towards a dedicated leaderboard. All we know so far is players earn points toward the leaderboard by cashing in eligible tournaments and compete for prizes at the top of the leaderboard. The prizes have not yet been revealed.

What do you think of this incentive?

I think they should have done a leaderboard for all of the "lower" buy-ins instead - $1000 or less.
