I took out $2400 two days ago, and it already shows under transactions history in the cashier, and it says there are no pending transactions. But when I check my online banking for TCF bank, it still hasn't added the $2400 withdrawal from Full Tilt. And on the top of the screen of my online banking, it says "Current Balance as of 1/03/2008 11:26 AM CTS".

I was a bit scared that Full Tilt screwed me over because I created a second account maybe two weeks ago (which I haven't even used at all or deposited money to), but I checked my email yesterday and got an email from Full Tilt simply saying multiple accounts isn't allowed and my second account was closed, but I'm free to continue playing with my original account.

So is it normal for a bank transfer to take so long?? I thought it was instant since it's through the internet. I have to pay my bill for my next college semester very soon I need this $2400 fast.

From what I've seen / learned about poker sites is DON'T PANIC yet .

Yes they will deduct it from you're account right away ( makes sense )but it takes a few days for them to send it out to you as I believe a " real person " does this , keep in mind that there are thousands of players there and with the time of the year ( Christmas / New Years ) they are probbly a bit over-whelmed / (under-staffed ? )with withdrawel requests.
After 3 buisness days I would send an E-mail to support and I would not be surprised if I got 1 back that said- blah , blah , lots of people , blah blah , please be patient while we blah blah blah.

Please make sure to let us know how you make out so others can an idea of how long it takes.

Why didn't you just email them? You'll get a much quicker, more well-informed response from them than you will from us here.

Glad it all worked out.

Wire transfers, contrary to what one might think, take some time. Usually between 3 and 7 days depending on the banks involved and where they are located.

One thing you can be pretty sure of, though, is that the major cardrooms including FullTilt, UltimateBet, pokerstars, etc. are not going to screw you out of your money during a transfer. All the big players are extremely good re: payouts.

I'm certainly looking forward to the day when the funding provision is taken out of the Port Security act so poker rooms can use standard ACH direct deposits and withdrawals from checking.

FWIW, speedwise, PokerStars seems to have the fastest payouts of the cardrooms I play at...

Well, I know it took me like, 3-4 business days to get my check when I withdrew from UB

My friend that withdrew her jackpot winnings ($30g) didn't have it in her bank acct (wire) after a week and a half..dunno if she does yet.
