I recently won a few bucks in a 1K free roll on players only. Befor I wasted alot of time building a BR from it I contacted them VIA email to find out what their cash out policy was. This was our conversation.
My question

Can I cash out funds won from free rolls without depositing. I have won a few bucks in a free roll and I'm trying to build a BR from that. Also I am a US player. What are my Cash out options.
Thanks for your time.
Tim Garrett

Thank you for contacting us.
Before we can process your withdrawal we require a copy of valid photo ID (passport or driver's license) and a hardcopy of a utility bill showing your name and address. If you haven't already done so, please provide this documentation. We are always here to help you. Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any additional questions in relation to this or any other matter.
We accept withdrawals 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All withdrawals must be initiated online by the member via the cashier area of the site.
Click on the 'cashier', 'banking' or 'withdraw' link after you log-in. If required, log-in again to the EFS Cashier page and click the 'Withdraw' or 'Cash-Out' button. Select the required method and click the 'Choose Withdraw Type' button.
  • Step 1: Enter the amount you wish to withdraw. The minimum check withdrawal amount is $50 and the maximum is $2500.
  • Step 2: Review your address as listed on the cashier page and choose regular mail or express courier for delivery of your check.
  • If your address on file is correct, go to Step 4, enter your PIN and submit your withdrawal.
  • Step 3: To update your address while withdrawing, follow the instructions to navigate to 'My Account'.
    • Make the update. (Address updates will be verified with your financial institution so please ensure the new address provided to us matches the billing address on file with your bank).
    • Click 'Continue' to return to the cashier.
  • Go to Step 4, enter your PIN and submit your withdrawal.
We automatically try to credit back any recent credit/debit card deposits, but due to restrictions imposed by Visa and Mastercard this is not always possible.
The remainder will be sent to you as a check.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Kind regards,
James Scott

As you can see they only answer part of my question so i asked it again.
So no deposit required. I know some sights require you to make a deposit befor you can cash out and wont let you do it on FR funds only. Thats great that you dont do that to people who play your sight. Please confirm this as you didnt answer that question and Ill post it on the 3 blog sights Im a member of and relieve folks concern over this matter.
thanks again for your time

Their reply

Dear William,
Thank you for contacting us.
Sorry for any confusion caused, but you will need to make at least one $20 deposit in order to make a withdrawal.
As our withdrawal minimum is $50, you would need to make a $23.50 deposit in order to withdrawal your winnings.
Again, sorry for any confusion caused.

We are always here to help you. Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any additional questions in relation to this or any other matter.
Kind regards,
James Scott

So I deposited $50.00 with my Master Card Debit card, and it went right through. The rest remains to be seen. I will update when I have enough to cash out.
It looks like if you can't make a deposit you should'nt waste your time there .
Hope this is of some help.

I would caution folks about sending drivers licenses or passport copies. These organizations are foreign nationals .... and it is illegal to copy these items.

GL with your withdrawal:).

Think only a small percent of sites actually allow you to make withdrawals without making a deposit first.

Think the best idea is what a few sites did was when they had 1c games with $100 up to $1000 games which are virtually freerolls except you obviously have to make a deposit first unless someone transfers you $$$

Maybe if the site allows transfers would that constitute a Deposit then you could get a transfer from someone and transfer it back on another site without having to send your passport driving license ID etc

I deposited $60 to qualify for the $1000 CC FR back in Dec. (Nov?), cashed in that (ty again CC!), then successfully cashed out $120 with the check I got ~5 weeks later. My overall impression of POPoker is very positive and I am well on my way to quintupling my current $60 profit ;)

My credit union had no issues with POP's check.

In setting up my account, I sent them

1) a .jpg of my drivers license but with the DL# blacked out

2) a .jpg of my electric bill from CL&P w/ black out over the acct#

Their goal is not to spirit away your identity, but to simply establishing you live at a fixed address and that you are who you say you are. :deal:

Good luck on the felt :)

Thanks. I was wondering if they would acept that or did I have to send an actual bill. The DL was a given. You can't send that any other way

Players Only dont do player to player transfers. I would gladly trade my BR there for some on Full Tilt.

Hey there Tim,
I don't know about PO. Did you have to deposit because it didn't meet the $50 min. for withdrawal? I had a relatively smooth transaction when I cashed out with FTP and I never made a deposit. It was all freeroll winnings that I built up. I had to send the same info to FTP and my little home town bank didn't even bat an eyelash at the check and everything went smoothyly. Even though I think FTP isn't on US soil the check originated from a US bank. Hope this info. helps.

No you must make a depost to cashout at all. Most sights are like this. pokerstars and Full Tilt are the only 2 I'm familar with that don't have this reqirement

In order to process your payout we will require you to submit a copy of a valid form of ID (Drivers License or Passport) as well as a copy of a utility bill showing your name and address. It is important to note that we will only require you to submit this information ONCE. We will keep the information securely on file for future withdrawals and will not need it again. If you request a withdrawal before sending this information it will be canceled and returned to your account. Please click HERE to submit this information right now via our secure form. Alternatively, you can scan and email this information to documents@gamingsupport.net or fax it to 1-800-201-4919.
When withdrawing from your account we may send some funds back to your credit card to the extent that you made recent credit card deposits. The timeframe for you to receive your payouts will vary depending on the method selected and current number of requests. General processing times will be 4-8 weeks if we have all required documents on file. While we will work to have your payments processed as quickly as possible some payments may take longer than specified.

Great Information

Whow,

This is the type of great information we need to get on our Threads.

As, withdrawal from the On Line poker sites are in the forefront of most players.

Please keep us posted on the developments with PlayersOnly.

I have about $2.50 cents BR (haha) from FRs. But, made no deposits.

Thanks,

When you make that min deposit it is of course because they want you to play it, but, you don't have to. You can make min deposit and immediatly withdraw that and your winnings, just not any bonus monies until bonus requirements have been met. They just want to make sure you're a real person and they hope you'll play that money you deposited.

Unless your winnings are less than 20 bucks because of the $20 fee.

At AP you can and should spend the extra cash on the fed-ex you get tracking numbers and know exactly when your check is coming. I think Ps does it for free on checks over 2,500

Can someone provide a list of sites that request a deposit before a withdrawl? I feel this is important information and may help new players decide which sites to choose. Alot of players use freerolls to build their bankrolls and this may help players looking for new sites to join make better decisions about this(Players only) and other sites outside of the big 2! Great Thread and helpful posts on this topic which could impact alot of players who dont know this or how hard it can be to make a withdrawl from other sites!
Thanks,

I would think it's safe to say that all of the major sites have a requirement like this, as it makes good business sense for them to not only require a little effort by a person before allowing them to withdraw "free" money, but also as a means of trying to verify the identity/location of the player.

Also, with complaints already rampant about how long sites are taking to play or how long it takes to verify indentities, do you REALLY want the sites backlogged with $30 payment requests? Right now, the ONLY thing keeping them from being swamped with payout requests from freeroll winners are those deposit requirements. (Not to mention the fact that freerolls would probably cease to exist if they allowed this, or at least only be open to previous cash-depositors)
