Issue with PokerStars withdrawal policy

So two weeks ago I made a deposit of $1200 to Pa pokerstars threw my bank account, I had misplaced my debt card which I usually use, and iv also made cash deposits at my local 711 in the past. I played black jack and turned that $1200 into $22000 in the course of a few days. Along the way of getting to this $22000 balance I made multiple attempts to withdrawal the allowed amount/profit, because my $1200 deposit was automatically subtracted from the balance, in which I kept getting a message that I could not make a withdrawal for up to 7 days until my first check cleared. I even tried to make attempts to make lesser withdrawals, and kept getting the same message. I did not understand this rule one bit so I did a live chat with PokerStars and they stated that the policy is that I have to wait up to 7 days for my check to clear to be able to make any withdrawal. Being that it said up to 7 days, I attempted multiple days hoping my check cleared sooner, especially with it have been withdrawn from my account immediately, and I sent multiple emails and the response I kept getting was the policy was I have to wait up to 7 days to be able to make a withdrawal. The website talks allot about responsible gambling, and I don’t get how they can preach and preach about responsible gaming and not give someone access to make a withdrawal of there funds. At some points I was betting big money and it was really working out for me but I know gambling is easy come easy go and I did not want to put myself in a position where I could possibly take a big loss. In which I did take a big loss, went on tilt, and my balance little by little faded away. I was very upset with myself like any one would be, and I just wished I could of made a withdrawal when I wanted to, but with PokerStars policy there was nothing I could do about it. A few days later I’m looking at PokerStars deposit policy and I come across the withdrawal policy and see nothing about not being able to make a withdrawal for 7 days until your first check is cleared. So I email PokerStars to see a copy of there withdrawal policy, and they send me a response that the policy is that I have to wait 7 days to be able to withdrawal the portion of my balance that I deposited. Which they made my point and I explained that I was not trying to withdrawal what I deposited I was trying to withdrawal my profit, and I was not able to do so but kept being told I could not make any deposit at all for 7 days. I said multiple times I wanted to see a copy of there withdrawal policy. Then they would respond arguing with me that I could not withdrawal the portion.... basically the same shit over and over threw out multiple emails and I kept explaining to them I was not trying to withdrawal my damn deposit portion of my balance that I couldn’t make any withdrawal at all. And I kept getting the run around and having them talk to me like I’m stupid when I clearly understand what they are saying the policy is what I’m not understanding is why I was not able to make any type of withdrawal at all. Finally after like 10 emails, I have someone tell me I should have been able to make a withdrawal of my profit, and he sent me a copy of the withdrawal policy. I said thank you finally someone understands what iv been saying for the past 10 emails, but then they go on to say that they don’t see any where that I tried to make a withdrawal or that I got any errors doing so. For 5 days I made multiple attempts everyday to withdrawal, and I constantly wrote the live chat about my failed attempts, how the hell are they going to say I made no attempt to withdrawal. Every time I did a live chat they told me I can not make any withdrawal for 7 days, any time I attempted to withdrawal it told me I could not make any withdrawal for 7 days till my check cleared, how do you not have proof on these live chats and withdrawal attempts? I ask for a manager or higher up in multiple emails and they ignore that part of the email. Iv asked for a copy of the withdrawal policy and it took 8 response to actually be sent the link. I understand I lost on my own, I let my gambling habits get the best of me, but I do not understand why I was constantly given a false policy, and not able to take my money out when I wanted to. They talk allot about responsible gambling well what the hell do you call trying to cash out when your up? And don’t they have a responsibility to the player? then you don’t give someone that ability for 7 days! Has anyone else had any issue, or no something I can do about this?

I am very sorry that this happened, but as far as I know PokerStars is one of the very first poker rooms and it seems to me that this is simply the negligence of one of the operators

I don't understand can't you wait for 7 days? But yes, noone knows why if you deposit money comes instantly and if you withdraw you have to wait.

They have option 'exclude you from playing' or 'restrict casino limit' if you feel you can lose. It is under Tools>Responsible Gaming.

Yes sorry to hear you lost this money but agree with previous poster I would have excluded myself for a week probably at 10k definitely at 20k and play on another site for that week until able to withdraw no offense intended but you need to work on your self control your bets must have been way too high if busted.
Tools>Responsible Gaming,Exclude me from playing then select a 7 day time out good luck.

Unfortunately, this is a very bad deal for you. I had no such problems. But I hope you have drawn some excellent conclusions from this situation for yourself

I suspect it's their policy either way is wait 7 days to withdraw or deposit.
Personally I think it contradicts itself, because if you set your DAILY limits at for instance £100, you still have to wait 7 days to add any more...?

Ball of confusion...

It seems to me that they have such a policy, if you won money, more than contributed to the game, you have to lose them there and leave with nothing.
