I requested 2 eChecks almost a month ago and they have still not appeared in my bank account statement. My previous 3 eCheck withdrawls went through in a matter of days with no hitches. I received an email 13 days ago saying that there was a delay in eCheck processing for my 2 eChecks and that it would be another 5-10 days. Still, nothing doing in my bank account. Anyone else having problems here?? Here is the email I just sent them. Cant hurt asking for a little extra, right ;)

Hi,

I requested eChecks for ~688 and ~163 dollars almost a month ago and it has still not appeared on my bank statement. I know that you had a delay in processing, but it has been over 10 days since you sent the email about the delay. Since I havent had access to my money in almost 30 days could you comp me in any manner? I have been a loyal customer for years and I have been playing very frequently lately.

Same problem ... They are making promises

Hi guys.. This is the response I'm getting from them.. did you ever get your money?

Hello Rockin' D,

In recognition of the inconvenience you have suffered with the delay in receiving your eCheck cashout we have credited your account with a bonus of 20% of the requested cashout amount. This amounts to a credit of $76.38 for your $381.89 eCheck cashout requested on 08-May-08. This credit can be found in your PokerStars Cashier History as "eCheck compensation". You may check this by logging on to the PokerStars Cashier followed by clicking on the History button. These funds are available to you now without any kind of restrictions or conditions.

Regarding your missing cashout, we have been working hard with the processor to resolve this situation. The processor has informed us that the cashouts should start hitting players' bank accounts as of Monday May 12, or at the very latest on Tuesday, May 13. Please note that we are processing the oldest cashouts first so it is likely to take the next 5 - 10 business days for us to clear the backlog.

If, despite all the assurances by the supplier, there won't be any concrete evidence that players start receiving their credits by end of day on Tuesday, May 13, we will then cancel all cashouts and re-credit players' accounts. Players will then be invited to use alternative withdrawal options including paper checks. Should such a re-credit take place you will receive further communication from us.

If you have any questions, please contact us at any time.

Regards,

PokerStars Payments Team

I requested a cashout to be deposited into my checking on APRIL 28TH 2008 and still have received NOTHING as of May 19th. 22 Days and NOTHING. Canned responses to emails. I requested another cashout after that. This is BS. They are keeping out money for some reason. Are they going broke? What is the point of playing there anymore? There is NONE if you can't take your money off the table in a timely fashion.

They took the money and gave it to their third-party eChecks partner. This partner hasn't been sending out the funds. They keep making excuses. But PokerStarrs is not the problem, it's the company they're using.

PokerStars was nice enough to deposit 20% of their own money directly into the accounts of people (like myself) who are effected by this problem.

Personally, I think paying people 20% to help make up for someone else's mistake is pretty generous of them.

If you want your money in a timely fashion get a check. My checks arrive in less than a week, whereas some other sites (especially the smaller ones) take much much longer.

eCheck at PokerStars

I am also having problems with a eCheck cashout and received a 20% bonus. My two issues with PokerStars are as follows:

1) I have made subsequent deposits which are processed quickly. If they can get the money out of my account in 1 day why can't they get it back to me in a timely manner???

2) I have e-mailed customer support 3 times and received no reply despite specifically requesting a response in my last e-mail.

PS's refusal to personally address my inquires is frustrating and is damaging my previously positive sentiments toward PS.

I've submitted an echeck request for the new maximum of $2500 on 12 May. I have received nothing but banal promises since. I don't care if they are blaming it on a third party or not. Their contractor problems are not my concern. Their respnses to my inquiries border on the ludicrous and completely ignore my questions, only telling my I have to wait for everyone ahead of me in the queue. I have certainly had no mention of compensation for keeping my money for nearly 3 weeks. The longest I've ever seen them delay on taking from my account was 2 business days. The longest I've ever experienced before for a cashout was 3 business days. They knew they had problems by the 12th, why couldn't I have been advised to have a paper check issued? Believe me, once this is cleared the rest of my winnings will be by paper check and I'm done with them. Their attitude towards me as a customer is evidence enough that they won't miss my business.

I'm glad I read this thread, because I was going to use eCheck for deposit and withdrawal. I'll go with the paper check I guess. Anyone have any good experience with withdrawing with eCheck?

eCheck works fine for deposits, just request a paper check for withdrawal and you should be okay. But hopefully they'll have this eCheck fiasco sorted by the time I'm wanting to withdraw, as I'd much prefer the EFT approach.
