I know that these sorts of questions have been asked/ re-asked & asked again, so I'll try to make this very specific.

Are you a pokerstars customer and Canadian resident who has been making routine deposits and in particular withdrawals to/from your Canadian bank account? If so, could you please provide some detail on how you are doing it - specifically which major bank, which specific Pokerstars deposit and withdrawal options do you select?

Screenshots with no personal identifying info would be IDEAL.

I've spoken to my bank. They say that a foreign entity can take money out of my Canadian Bank account (if I authorize it) but not put money in to my account. So how is it done?

I've asked Pokerstars and they refer to Interac e-Transfers which is simply not possible to/from other countries

Obviously people are doing it - but specifically how?

Are there no Canadian CC members winning enough at Pokerstars to make withdrawals, or are none of you using direct deposit AND withdrawal, or has this been answered in another post?

If the latter, would someone mind referencing the other post please?

I have made a couple small deposits with my CIBC visa card and I have made 2 withdrawals of 300 dollars each to my CIBC bank account without a problem. If I remember correctly the money came into my account within about 3 days.

Thanks. What bank were you with? How long ago was that?

Their policy says:

but you recall them putting the money into your bank account, not your credit card?

I haven’t deposited via direct deposit but I have withdrawn money from poker stars. My bank is a Credit Union. All I did was add my bank details (transit #, bank #, etc)into the cashier when I made my first withdrawal and if I remember correctly I had to request they withdrawal again after I add my account details.

Just in case you're wondering, I have never made a deposit or withdrawal from Stars. I used to do it to/from Full Tilt back in the day using an RBC account. I'm pretty sure times have changed.

My last deposit with Poker Stars was three months ago only for the thirty school pass tickets. I never had any problems in the past with deposits and cashouts with echeck and visa debit with Cibc they are quick but now very hard to build a bankroll because they screw up the School League and don't offer much unless you signed up through an affiliate for some private freerolls compared too number two in the online battle 888 Poker.
