Hello, I am wanting to hear others experience with Bovada Poker. Is it a safe site? And how do you make your deposits?

I've never deposited on Bovada, heck I can't even get onto the site anymore, but I hear the payouts are usually done in a timely manner. If anyone knows how I can get back in, please let me know.

Site is currently experiencing issues, which is really a rarity. Deposits are easy onto the site and withdrawals are as timely as we can get currently in the US (approx 2 weeks for a courier check). Do NOT use a bank wire for cashouts, as they will rake you for another 4% or so.

Hey everyone,

We are aware that some of our players using particular ISP providers, such as Comcast, are unable to access our site. We don’t know the full extent of the issue and are doing our best to identify a resolution. We will keep you updated here as we know more. Thanks for your continued patience.

Regards,
Bovada Service

Hey everyone,

Some of our players have reported successfully updating their DNS server, following the below link, as a means to access our site. If you are confident in doing this it is a short term solution we are recommending.

It's safe

I've been playing at Bovada for about 16 months. No problems except the occasional lose of connection while playing. No disconnect protection. So, a bit irritating. I've withdrawn money twice. Very timely receipt. The first was drawn on a US bank. No problem depositing. The second was drawn on a very large multi-national Canadian bank. My bank charged me $50 to collect it. It only took 3 days to collect. My bank screwed me, for sure. So, you might as well leave your money at Bovada and gamble versus paying unreasonable collection fees. I'm looking for a new bank. :)
As far as deposit methods, I recommend MoneyGram. If you deposit at least $300, Bovada will add the sender fee to your account. Don't use a credit card!!! You will have to pay a 4.9% fee to Bovada and very likely a foreign purchase fee to your CC company. That is, IF the charge manages to get through.
I have no bad beat or rigged software stories. If you get good cards and play them well, you will be a net winner.

What do you tell the cashier when you deposit a check? I've deposited a few and it's always the most uncomfortable transaction.. I don't have my own account so I can't just put it in the atm either. The tellers always look at me like I'm doing something wrong I hate it! I wish I could just be like it's from poker, cash it!
