I just tried making a deposit on ACR & it was pending so I went through live chat. The person assisting was taking an extremely long time & after about 12 minutes of nothing asked for my the 4 #'s of my SS# and DOB. I disconnected & called in, they said to try in 5 minutes. Is this safe at all? Any input is much appreciated.

Maybe you need to verify your identity? Answering the question "is this safe at all", well, this is a big poker site in the US, so I really don't think that site is a scam.

Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated. I verified my account a few years ago but have since moved, so have to verify again. Might use the Green Dot idea.

Good day,

Very nice to meet you!

I am the ACR Rep on CardsChat.

Seems you are talking about credit card deposits. Our security system is set to review different criteria associate it to your account and the information you provide; rest assured the rep asked you for the last digits of your SS because we were missing this information and Visa does not allow us run the the attempt if there is missing information. The date of birth was requested to confirm the information with your profile and the information you are adding.

Note that this is a security measure to avoid fraud.

Take a look into our different deposit options:

BitCoin
Western Union
MoneyGram
Visa
