Hi anyone here who plays at 888poker from the PH?

I just wanted to ask if have you ever encountered any difficulties withdrawing your winnings from the site if you happen to use the "Wire Transfer" method to cash it out?

So unfortunately my 2 separate withdrawal transactions were both via wire transfer and my bank (Eastwest Bank) denied the funds and sent it back to Gibraltar Bank (since they are the ones sending the money) as per my bank gambling proceeds are illegal to come in per banking laws here. So what happened is both of those transactions are being sent back to the sender 888poker.

Take note, 888poker was able to provide me a winning letter proving that those were my winnings being sent to me but despite of that the local bank (PH) denied it and sent it back.

Have you encountered any such issue claiming your winnings through your local bank?

Unfortunately I have not been lucky enough to win a very large sum maybe one day I would have the headache of figuring out how to move a large sum. It is a good headache to have.

I have never withdraw from poker room to bank directly I use a third party ewallet like skrill or ecoPayz so my bank does not have an information as to source of funds.

This would only raise a red flag or cause a problem with my bank if I transfer a large sum or if the transfers were regular. A $1k or less transfer per month and my bank does not ask questions.

My suggestion would be to look for a third party that can help get funds to you. Not all third party works for everybody so you will have to do your research to figure it out which one will work for you above all be cautious as there are many scammers out there and many of them look like legitimate businesses.

Maybe an ewallet like Skrill, neteller, ecoPayz or some form of CryptoCurrency can help you get your money. Or maybe another bank in your country might work for you.

Best of Luck

The government will always be against what it cannot control one hundred percent. Use online wallets, it is much more convenient with them.:)
