Zoom or P.P. fastforward are way higher to beat then normal cash games if you play meaningful stakes( 10-25NL+++ ). Below that, you can win of course relatively easily a couple bb/100 playing boring and tight and not heroing river, but rake is so irrational that it eats away theoretical winnings and makes you break-even... So why bother... It is good for practice however, to see how well do you do after 10-20-30-50k hands and examine your samples and leaks, but thats it. Better to play more tables with slower format because there are way more fish. Or turn to shortdeck or Omaha, those are way more niche and softer if you learn some courses and have your ranges in order.
Edit: If you are breakeven or small winner at NL25-50, I can guarantee you, you would crush live 1-3/2-4/2-5 or whatever comparable stakes you have locally, and can be one of the weaker average regs in 5/10 and still have profits if you play with good table selection and avoid borderline spots against aggressive pro regs...
So I would either use fastforward for practice and then play online or offline ring games, or if playing fastforward I would be tempted to learn more Omaha. If someone insists on playing low/mid-stakes NLH Zoom and they want to make a profit or a 2nd income from it they will have to look for a pretty great rakeback deal...
