no friend, unfortunately I don't believe in poker studios or schools. Poker is a simple game of basic knowledge and luck, the rest is a tale on the way. In fact, a prize of $ 25,000 is a good prize. That is what I was referring to. What happens is that I exaggerate a little when talking about millions and it would be necessary to see the end of that story of the person who won the $ 25,000, if greed led him to throw it away. or if I use wisely his fortuitous gain. I am a 51-year-old person, too old to be telling stories, now if you believe in all that, I respect you.

Actually you are very wrong about that. If that were true, why is it that there are a number of players who are consistently winning (earning) money? Your belief would be that they are just luckier... more often???

In fact, a prize of $ 25,000 is a good prize

It wasn't a 'prize' like you had been referring to. This $25k was an amount earned over a number of tournaments played within a 30-day period (I believe it was close to 4,000 games played in that period... and the person doing this had an ROI of I believe ~20%)

it would be necessary to see the end of that story of the person who won the $ 25,000, if greed led him to throw it away

He's a professional online poker player. He plays with strict bankroll management as do most online pros.

I am a 51-year-old person, too old to be telling stories,

I am a 57 yr old person... wise enough to know what I see in front of my eyes is true.

You mention... what does this person choose to do now with the $25k... will they use it wisely. It is their income. I'd imagine they use part of it for their rent or mortgage.. groceries & living expenses. And some of it for their working bankroll.

I think yes, you can make a living in online poker. But as I read very few people earn a lot. And I agree with them. I myself just start playing poker normally. But if you work hard on your mistakes, you can not only make money to life but also to enjoy the game, which I consider more important than any cent

I never said that $ 25,000 is a considerable figure, rather it seems to me a good prize, but, within all the knowledge that this person has to earn it, luck is a very important factor. Of course I think there are thousands of people who live from poker, what I do not consider is that they can be called professionals in the field, since even the most novice can take a good tournament. Simple, to play poker you only need three things, basic knowledge of the game, basic mathematical knowledge and a lot of luck. For the rest, all players usually tell their stories of when they win and how much they win, what is forgotten is how much they have lost. Life is like that mate, not everything is sacrifice, luck plays a very important role. I believe in poker schools up to a certain level, the rest is like life, experiences and good luck

If you control your bankroll and are not greedy by wanting more and more too fast and are practicing proper BRM and are content playing freerolls even if have a large bankroll taking the odd disciplined shot and withdrawing most of your big wins you will have to make money eventually.
The only person who decides how much he or she is going to lose is themselves when they press two little buttons deposit and register.
If I just played freerolls and withdrew every time roll was $10 or minimum withdrawal amount it would become impossible to lose.
Making a living though completely different and will work for a few really wealthy players maybe not for the majority of people I personally could not give up my decent paying job to play poker full time no way too risky and too much pressure would be placed on the bankroll most of the successful pros have other income streams anyway besides just what games they play.

You can earn money, the main thing is to build a strategy with those tournaments in which you want to play, the correct conduct of bankroll and you will gradually grow

If you play well, you can make a living from poker. There is no recipe for earning. They can't all earn poker. A very small percentage of players receive money from poker.

I agree. It's like any other sport ( or game ). You will need a lot a lot of daily study, a lot of practice, discipline and patience, and even all this is not going to mean that you will be good. like football, millions of people train their whole lives but only a few hundred join the big teams and achieve great success.
But don't give up, if you really focus on yourself, in your studies a little bit a day, you will be able to beat at least the low stakes.

If you get good enough you could supplement your income all your life by playing poker as a hobby. But I think smart thing to do when young is establish a career doing something you like to do, that doesn't feel like work, that makes you a lot of money.

Of course you can earn. But you need to play a lot, and learn to play poker well. Poker is a game where not only luck decides but also you. I made $ 30 in poker last week. Yes, it’s not much, but I’m just starting :)

I don’t know how to make money in poker, for some reason I’m constantly unlucky. I have been playing poker for 15 years and still have not won a single major prize.

Graph from pokerstars for the month of April/May. I believe it's profitable.

Inb4 "lolsample". I table select and hunt fish. It's an achievable winrate long term right now.

Well, at the big cash tables or high buy-in tournaments, there are probably one winning player sitting.
So if you are a good person and persistent you might be able to get to the level to make a living from poker.

ganar dinero en el poker

Hi. I think it is not so easy to earn money. Today, because of the quarantine, there are more people playing online. in my opinion the best site is pokerstars because every now and then it gives away a $ 5 chets. And with that I collected more 100 $ dls. and now I play more tournaments. And also in pokerstars are the card chat freerolls that allow you to play and win your first dollars.

It is becoming more and more difficult to earn poker every year. To do this, you need to learn and play a lot ...

This is quite possible if you will not use your personal money to play poker. Collect from the prize with a freeroll and then play wherever you want.

No you can't
The people typing and saying you can are either losing themselves or using the bots

I believe you can do it. Studying harder and loads of hour training before make some substantial money. If you compare all kind of roles in the world there are just 10% who really make money. This requires a lot of time to get ready.
