Hi how are you? Well, as many of you may know, poker is a game of skill and of people. Therefore, by not facing a machine or casino structure we can be winners. That said, there is a modality that particularly catches my attention and it is the spins and go. I think the key for them is learning to play shorts and master HP. I also know that there are many recreational players who play both at the micro and high level without having studied them. But the truth is, I don't know if they are as profitable in the long run as cash or MTT. What you think? Are there twists and regulars in this group?:)

Well to be honest I am not a fan of these spins and go.
I prefer normal sit and go (1-table or HU) , cash games and MTT.

As the price of the spins and go are variable and u do not have influence on it ... the price is determined by gambling and a lot of times it will be less than the prices of a normal sit and go.

played a lot of spins. bad result to continue
i like the spins because you can end the session at any time, and there is also a small chance of hitting the jackpot

Looks like a gambling for me... Playing poker in push-fold stack is not interesting, it looks much more same as roulette in casino, than poker. A lot of depends on variety, not on skills.
Probably, you can play defenitely profitable, but only with very big bankroll)

I think you can be profitable in spin and go, but it’s not for me. I had already played a lot (micro and small buy ins), but in the end I thought that was too much luck involved and I ended up with no profit or a profit that don’t worth the time that I had spent playing.

I'm fine thanks, and you?

I can't.

There's a high luck factor at the spins, in my point of view.

I personally believe that spin and go are not profitable, it is a hyper modality with a very short stack, this means that the need for luck increases to 90%, for me poker is 60% skills and 40% luck but it is not the case in this modality

I think they do are very profitable but they require a lot of discipline and effort mental game plays a lot when having a downswing this is in most cases of poker, But spins for me they become very boring at some point and start making lots of mistake but I have heard of people who really has made lot of money playing spins

Spin is profitable, but only depends in how you grind. You have to play something like 300 tournaments a day to be a real grinder in this game, IMO. Which is easy, btw. Games are fast, 6/8 tables at once an you can do this easily. After 10,000 tournaments you can have an idea about how you are playing.

I occasionally play them if I get a ticket in a Stars Chest but not as a habit.
Whenever I have played it’s always a terrible spin where the house makes more money than the players. I don’t think you can make a sustainable income playing them but could be wrong.

I prefer MTT tournaments. I believe that Spin & Go tournaments are more of a lottery, where your skills are of secondary importance, and in fact everything is decided by your luck. Therefore, I believe that in order to win regularly in Spin & Go tournaments, your luck must also be regular, which is unfortunately unrealistic.

Hi.
Sure, poker is a game of skill, but your skill is not crucial in Spin & Go tournaments. If you want to play steadily, it is better to choose Sit & Go tournaments or MTT tournaments.
Good luck.
