Everything in online poker suits me, I can play many tournaments a day, at any time. There is no such possibility in live poker.

The fact that I always almost go bust in ring games, if I sit at one table long enough ... feels like entering a lions den, where people throw their money around as if it was candy.

I would try to leave the table once your up if this happens to you a lot

And herein lies the problem: When is the right moment to leave, the right amount of winnings so that you can feel satisfied with your performance? I sat down at the table with the intention to play AT LEAST 15-30 hands after all, don't wanna just go away again after I'm up a couple of cents. And once I'm in the minus, I try my hardest to reach my initial buy-in again, but with every round it gets kinda harder and I get more desperate, so more often than not I lose it all, over some bad beat or other nonsense.
My solution: I learned to avoid this type of games like the plague. They just don't suit me, I guess.

Yes If you feel it’s a tough game I would avoid. If I’m in a spot where I feel I need to leave when I’m ahead sometimes I will still lose its part of the game. I remember playing some tougher games years ago the only method that was really working for me was leaving once I won a good size pot cause if I stuck around too long I would just end up losing what I won plus what I bought in for.

Recently it has been the constant disconnections, tournament suspensions and continuous buffering.

Seems like every game recently it is impossible to go longer than 2 hours without an issue.

There isn’t the glamour of the live tournament.

But I think that today we have several players and this cause problems with connection

What disappoints me the most is when I fly out on the bubble before getting into the prizes, also when someone is very lucky with any card))

My biggest frustration is that noone wants to revive PKR. No platform even tries to copy the "3d" style of it. 0 immersion playing in "dead" environment. BRING PKR BACK!!!

My biggest frustration is the simple fact I cannot see who I am playing against, you cannot get the sane reads on players as you can in a Live game, I am usually pretty good at picking up little things like a nervous twitch, or a throbbing vein in their neck, they all tell a story and if you can read those signs, they do help to make the right calls.
I suppose the benefit is they cannot read your's either, so it could be a case of "Swings and Roundabouts".

When the fun Stops, STOP!

:joyman: What do you think there is in online poker that you don't have in live poker?

I play so many hands on zoom I forget that you tend to need better hands to win. For example in live play you will see top pair win a lot. Online you need the nuts, second nuts, or third nuts. Otherwise I 100% would prefer online. I can play in my boxers and make $0.40 per hour on average. That's not too bad hahaa plus the only casino near me doesn't offer poker.

Worst thing is I can't be sure the card distribution system is not rigged, the site takes rake on each pot so bigger pot = more rake and many times I faced that my Flush looses to Full house or my set faces a better set and first thing comes to my mind is that the site rigged card distribution system to make bigger pots, at least if we face such thing in live poker we can be sure that's pure luck.

I would have to say variance, by far.

I know that it seems that the software is rigged so that they can make bigger rakes, but it's just that we are seeing 25 to 60 times more hands per hour than in person games. So naturally, the variance is high.

It's a tough pill to swallow.

Constant all-inners drive me crazy! And then, with the re-buy option, to see them keep coming right back to my table multiple times to do the same thing just flabbergasts me!

Players who lose internet connection, and it delays the betting for about 60 sec.. This is really annoying in a fast Sit and Go, when blinds go up every 3 min.

It is frustrating to have a deep run and you loose to the worst player on your table, but that´s poker.

the thing that disappoints me the most about online poker is that a lot of players come who play poker like roulette.there are days when big cards do not come and it is very difficult to beat such players who are constantly going all in.

The focus on poker 'bingo ' players and the difficulty to withdraw on smaller poker sites.

I just lost to a bingo player so yeah its losing to that type of player as folks mentioned and the only thing to do about that is to play higher stakes where those type of players don't exist. Either they're aggressive donks or they get frustrated from losing a hand and decide to give up and ruin the game for someone else. I just dislike those folks.
