What do you prefer - when you play poker: Music or silence ?

It depends

It depends on the day, if it is to relax, have fun, play listening to music. But if I want to play for real, I prefer to focus on the game in silence. And my soundtrack goes from Blues, goes through Jazz and always ends in Rock n´Roll always.

When i am playing I like to have a lot going on to not totally focus on my cards. since there are times when i just want to forget what is going on and not harbor on the play. Then again if the mood strikes silence is golden as well.. just for me depends on mood

Over many years of playing poker both online and in-person I found that I tend to run bad and lose anytime I have music playing. So, I just don't do it anymore.

I still run bad and lose though... Just not as much!

I'll usually start with some music. Can be anything I'm in the mood for. Usually that means soft rock, indie rock, or anything chill.

That's usually at the beginning though, as I'm reaching the bubble I usually switch to silence and concentrate more.
