Playing, watching a movie, eating w/e you want hahaha who wouldn't like it
maybe those who are in a very downswing, besides that online poker is wonderful
The freedom of play the time you want, to just open my computer and talk with people from every country.
To play with people who have the same habilities of me and everione else.
I love playing live but, I'm an early morning person so I don't prefer the casino because of working time in Morocco, they start at 18:30 and close at 08:00 in the morning and I prefer to be asleep by 22:00 so online is great, I get to play at my preferred time and I don't wanna change a routine thats been working for me for last couple of years even though I play live better than I play online.
Like that you can play anytime of the day for as little or long of a session you want. Like you can play lots of tables and games are always available to play.
The only things I like about online games are the plethora of quick access games and tournaments. Just the convenience of being able to play at any time wherever you are. All other aspects of playing online suck compared to real poker.
Playing from home anytime I want is the #1 perk. I also appreciate the accelerated experience of playing so many hands. Experience comes this way much faster than in-person games.
Even as many years as Doyle Brunson has played poker - there are very young players who have played many more hands than Doyle.
80 hours in person per week * 30 hands per hour = 2400
52 weeks in a year * 2400 hands a week = 124,000
40 hours per week * (4 tables online * 50 hand per hour each table) = 8000
52 weeks in a year * 8000 hands a week = 416,000
This very conservative model shows that online we can get about 3.3x the experience per year in 1/2 of the time.
Online is a pretty powerful learning tool in terms of hands played!
Online poker is good for its freedom. Choose the right time, the format of the game at any time. It is very important that you can close the tournament table and after some time enter the game again.
For me playing on line there is no stress or pressure. I pick and choose what ever game I prefer when I want as there are so many games and time's too choose from. Back in the day when my friends and I use to play on Friday or Saturday nights you looked forward these games. I miss them 😭. When playing on line if you are short on time you can play spin and go or a quick game with six or eight people and boom off you go your done. Long story short play when it is best for you on line.
Online poker is the only way I can play poker without driving ten plus hours to another state were a casino is. I use to go play live in May, every year for wsop circuit events. Trying to win that WSOP ring. I enjoy being able to open up four different sites and look threw all the games running. I can play any time of day or night with online poker.
