do you mean quit playing online?
I cashed out of Pacific last night after making a run at a $10,000 guaranteed and finished 12th...I'll switch focus to live play and play online freerolls for the hell of it, if I can. Luckily, Oklahoma has a plethora of Indian Casinos which offer both cash and tournament holdem 24/7. Unfortunately I know several people who have made a living off of online gambling who will now have to hang up their mouse and find a job out of the house. This really really stinks...basically.
You're missing some facts, though. The two guys arrested were arrested for Illegal Internet SPORTS Betting operations. And, if I'm not mistaken, neither guy was arrested on a federal warrant. They were local, out of state, warrants. None of this applies at all to online poker which had nothing to do with either of these arrests. Not that I condone the decision of some sites to cut bait, but i can't necessarily blame them either. It's already been shown that a couple high ups from other sites were arrested when they entered the US. If these sites continue to let us gamble through them after the legislation has passed then they had best not set foot on US soil.
