Titan Poker, not nice

I have got this email from Titan this week:

We would like to let you know that according to Titan's Terms and Conditions, if you have not placed any stake in your player account Humbugi for a continuous period of 180 days, your account will become inactive and will be subject to a monthly maintenance fee.
Since your account will soon reach this period we invite you to place a stake by using your balance in the next weeks; we have added a lot of features and games since your last visit and will be happy to see you again.
If you have not placed any stake in your account prior to the end of the 180 days period, a monthly maintenance fee will be deducted from your account.

Titan unfortunately isn't working on my mac (their Flash version) and they don't have a proper mac client.
So today after 5 email, which support clearly doesn't even bother to read. Like i send a screenshot from the software not working – their answer can you send us a screenshot...
Im still trying to close my account and get my 10$ from my account. (I got them from a subscription)

Has anyone tried to close his account on Titan and get his money back. Is there any chance?
or are they just that horrible?

Titan Poker is on the iPoker network, all rooms give error related to the FLASH. In Windows operating system can play normally. I've played a while ago on Titan and had no problem.

If $ 10 is bonus, you have to generate the rake requested to withdraw the money. The minimum cashout if I am not mistaken are $ 25.

I got the answer i expected today. They want me to deposit via skrill and then i should be able to withdraw. But i don't think its gonna work. I bet there is another hook why i cant cash out afterwards.
I just try to close it and make them donate my money for something useful.

I'm having trouble with titan Poker, I will just be happy to get my money back, but they have blocked my account. Is there any ombudsman or commission I can get involved. I have been playing online on other sites for over 10 years and never had a problem, I joined titan on 15 july and nothing but problems.

There software is not that great occasionally crashing. I have to uninstall and reinstall to play after getting an error message with automatic log out. Why did they block your account??

I can honestly recommend everybuddy to stay FAR AWAY from ipoker. I had some issues with freespins, and they really kept asking me for two weeks to send them information of the time and game and so on (Which for sure I sent in my first e-mail), and they can't even find such information in their own database, as you have to study database administration to find one single slot machine game with their offered tool.
All their e-mails were the same, so automatically generated, just with other "CUSTOMER SERVICE EMPLOYEES" names. I swear, there is one single guy sitting on Malta and LHAO about every further deposit that ppl make to his site, he invented 10 years ago!!!
They owe you money??? They will owe it for the rest of your life, asking you a bunch of work to do and finally not paying ANYTHING!!
Did I forget to mention their crappy software and disconnections, while your chips are on the table???

I kinda like Titan Poker, especially the CC freeroll every month.

I always liked Titan poker (as well as other iPoker network sites, ie. williamhill, Bet365, poker770, Ladbrokes, paddypoker, & so many others) too. I started playing on a bunch of the iPoker network sites back in 2008. I NEVER had a problem getting my money from them!!!

Some of the sites (ie. AmericasCardroom) require the player to not let their account become dormant, typically requesting you play within a 1yr. period. I didn't know Titan had a 6mth. limit.

On most sites (almost all of them), the player/customer is required to deposit so that they're able to withdrawal using the same method that they deposited with. It is usually a very simple process. On some sites, non-depositing type players (ie.'freerollers') are enticed with a small bonus (ie. Free $10)... or a casino bonus that requires a massive amount of playout (ie. 'Free Spins'). Many of these 'customers'(?) don't bother to read the terms & conditions that go along with their newly acquired 'free money' / 'free spins' and then some of them come onto a poker forum (ie. Cardschat) & complain about not being able to get 'their' free money off of the site.

fwiw the account 'Humbugi' (OP's iPoker account in question in the initial post of this thread) has absolutely ZERO activity on it (has not played even 1 tournament or even 1 sit'n go). Perhaps they were playing cash tables? (although it sure doesn't seem like it considering the account had been dormant for over 6 months). So after seeing that I can only surmise that the original poster in this thread received a 'Free $10' bonus, didn't play & then now decides they want that $10 but discovers that might not happen so they write on here to tell us how bad Titan poker is. Maybe a new thread title would be more suited to this? ("Freetroller discovers the 'Free $10' can only be earned if they actually play on the site. Freetroller doesn't play but still wants the $10. Doesn't get it & also doesn't read the Terms & Conditions. Comes to a forum hoping for sympathy from other freetrollers")

Well first off what i like Freetroller. :D great word.

Thank you very much for checking into it. I wonder why the support couldn't help me though. Always sending the same standard emails and not answering any question. Even closing the account was annoying, but anyway.

Why and how are you checking my account and post information about it here?
What's this about? Are you working for titan support, is that how you run your business? Or just checked sharkscope or something similar? Why would you do that? orO

Yes i didn't play much on titan, because the software didn't work! Thats why i contacted support. The only time i could play was from a windows machine. I played cash, i thought i played 1 or 2 sngs as well but thanks for your research. On a mac it didn't work. That flash App isn't working. I could log in into my account through my phone, thats what i did. To keep my account alive. And then the started feeing. So yeah after all that mess with the software and the support i didn't feel comfortable to deposit money to titan to get my little money out of it.

I may be a very small fish and just playing for fun in my free time with free money. But i don't like to be treated that way! Not from titan and not from you!

I'm still playing on stars and full tilt because thats no problem for them, i even had my money on my account after several years not playing or logging into it.

I think Titan has now merged with winner poker as of the start of this month. I'm having trouble accessing my account that has nearly $200 on it.
