Hello friends, today I will tell you a little about the two most popular variants of poker such as Texas Holdem and Omaha, remember that there are four types of bets, preflop, flop, turn and river, both with the royal flush as the most strong of all.

The difference: In Texas Holdem you receive two cards and in Omaha you receive four cards where you can only use two of them to complete the best possible hand.

Because Texas Holdem is more attractive than Omaha! It is due to the emotion that you can win or lose all the chips in one hand in Texas Holdem no-limit, and on the other hand in Omaha you play practically pot-limit since it is almost impossible to get to play Omaha no-limet.

I more play in Texas Hold'em. For me it’s somehow easier to play it. When I played Omaha for the first time, the first thing I thought after the tournament was that it’s difficult to lose. And it was somehow not comfortable.but I like both game modes

IMO Omaha is a pure gamblers game which sadly it seems NLHE has turned into nothing more then gambling with worst hands constantly and being rewarded. but ill take holdem over Omaha anyday as you might as well play slots then omaha

I know both types of games well and have played a lot with all of them. For me, it sometimes changes which one I like better. Holdem has been my favorite for a long time now, but I don’t think that will change anymore.

I prefer Hold'em but I do like the fact that Omaha has less variance... feel like there's less bad beats in it. I also think its because you get more information with more cards... your hand is pretty set in stone by the time the flop comes out.

I play texas holdem 95% of the time, but I play Omaha more every day! Not long ago when i participating in a Omaha hi/lo homegame and I found it very interesting! I played some cash games and it looks like this variant will come into my action a few days! I believe that Omaha Hi / Lo cash games are good for generating a lot of rake as there is more chance that everyone will hit a game hi or low, regularly generating interesting pots! Correct? GL!

Definitely prefer Hold 'Em since having two cards limits the number of combos you can have with the board. There's a bunch of Omaha freerolls on ACR so I have been picking up on it though and it's growing on me. Omaha does take a while to play since at least on ACR, you start with like 100 BB and with pot-limit it can take forever for the pot size to increase.

In terms of general trends with Omaha, hand combos like two pairs and trips are fairly common so you really need to have to nuts to win at showdown. Even when I flop top set, I usually get outdrawn by someone with nut flush, which wouldn't happen as much in Hold 'Em because I can bet them off on the flop or turn.

So for now, hold em has the slight edge!

Much more exciting tham Texas Holdem.
4 cards in hands you should always use two.
You have more chance to flush and straight or straight flush, full House.
It is better than Texas Holdem.
I play this with pot limit it is a good option.

If Omaha is good, it is much easier to form a good play, but I would like not to limit it.

On some sites with little Omaha traffic you better be careful
to not lose too much as a beginner to the regs... When only 1 or 2
tables are running then you cant escape the good players. But in turn
you soon know your opponents and their playing style even without a HUD
as you only have to recall a handful of regs in Omaha on some rooms....

I like Holdem and Omaha but I prefer always play Holdem NL! I only play Omaha when is PL. I think that Omaha PL is better than NL

I agree that these are probably the most exciting versions of poker. I almost prefer PLO because of the ability to control the pot size. Folx just go crazy, sometimes, w/an all-in option. Hold'em is still the king of poker games, imo.
