Their is many dangers lurking on many poker sites online that a lot of people or players don't expect. For instance many sites allow or have allowed criminals to play on their sites with out any care for peoples or players safety.
In the past or even today many poker sites don't ask for Government ID or any proof of identity allowing who knows who on their sites and shady transactions being made without a care who is doing it.
If a poker site or Casino don't ask for Government ID or proof of identity run as far as you can from that site for your safety and families safety.
Many sites will also with hold your winnings won and hard earned time, stresses, emotions , blood sweat & tears to get that money through your hard work. They will with hold it and in turn getting you to go play with that money forcefully on the site with their employees ready to pounce to get it back.
They have teams of pros who will work for the site together to extract that money from you especially when your being forced to play when you don't want to. They will use this as a ploy to say you have a gambling problem when you don't. If a player wins huge amounts of money and wants it taken off their and put into his hands or bank account right away or soon as possible its not a gambling problem , its being smart with his bankroll!! Its a Casino or Poker site trying to get that money back or get it back into play and forcing that player to play with money he did not want to play with . Simple.
There is also bots that many sites don't want to talk about. Why? Well its a simple fix by getting every customer to provide proof of identity. With Government ID or Passports. This will get rid of almost all bots or fraud accounts across the board. But i believe some not all. But some Poker sites have their own bots playing on their site to retrieve money and profits.
If a site is always crashing and your not being refunded your money then thats a big no no as well.
If a site wont pay you your money within a short period thats a huge red flag. Contact a lawyer and documnet everything.
To every player playing online. I cannot stress enough to document and record everything. Screenshots, time , tournament , transactions, emails, messaging with sites or customer service. There is alot of sites who are out there to steal your money from the second you deposit it.
The 1 site i strictly recommend to stay away from is party poker or party casino. This site is so shady in regards to privacy, safety, identity and your money. If you value your Life and Family. I suggest to stay away from this site for your safety.
