I would like to know if this has ever happened to you, playing at more than one table, on different sites, have you been dealt two identical hands at the same time, in different rooms?

Happens all the time, play 4 or 5 tables, unfortunately it's usually the shit, 2 here, 2 there, wow, every single thing, but it's part of the game, isn't it?

Hello everyone. I had such situations even in the same room. It's completely normally and doesn't depends is it cash or MTT.

Two of the same cards in the hand yes, but the whole hand is never the same, always different flops. I also had a flush at the same time, but always a different flop.

Yes, all the time. And not only with hands, but with the cards on the board too! haha

Yes. I too have a post in a thread somewhere on here w/a couple of images of identical hands at different sites simultaneously. It hasn't happened in a while since my internet is "iffy" at times but it's more than just a coincidence, imo.

Just for understanding:
Are we talking about the exact identical hand (A)--> :ks4::10h4: table1 </> table2 :10h4::ks4: bzw. :kh4::10h4: T1 </>T2 :10h4::kh4:

or (suited/offsuit) identical hand (B)--> K-10 (os) T1 </>T2 10-K (os) bzw. K-10 (s) T1 </> T2 10-K (s)
:ks4::10c4: = :10h4::kd4: :kh4::10h4: = :ks4::10s4:

Does one calculate the probability for (A)? The posts in this thread give the impression that it happens 3x a day... but that can't be the case that often!

Does anyone know the exact math?

Sorry stupid mistake! :poop:
At table 1 the hand is not defined. I thought about the probability of the event occurring three times in a row.

No; but what happens to me a lot is playing at pokerstars and playing 2 tables and the same hands keep popping up. It's strange, makes me wonder sometimes.

I have never had that situation, since I only play on PokerStars, in fact I just tried to play on party poker, but I found that I can't play some freerolls if I don't make a deposit, so that discourages me.

This has also happened to me a few times. As much as one may believe in a conspiracy, this is probably pure coincidence, or simply a similarity of the poker software algorithm. As far as I know, in programming the calculation of the cards does not work like in real life, because in real life you finally have other factors like shuffling, stacking etc..
