Does anyone use a randomizer to decide whether to take a higher variance or lower variance route?

Also how exactly would it benefit your game by putting your decisions in the hands of a random number generator.

Randomizers are a way to attempt to be perfectly balanced. However this is not really important, unless you are playing with the same people every day and at a level, where they pay maticulously attention to, what you do. And if that was the case, you would not be asking, because you would know the answer already ;)

Right now I am playing an 11$ PKO on pokerstars. The last of 12 MTTs I entered during this session. We are down to the final 46 players, but even though I have been playing on PokerStars for years, there is noone at my table, who I have played more than 160 hands with. This mean, nobody have anywhere near enough information about me to know, if I am perfectly balanced in every situation or not. So why would I even bother trying?
