I have seen a lot of posts about people wandering about how "random" a random number generator can be to not repeat itself.
They are set up on the same basic principle as crypto equipment.
Along with the regular circuit that the signal travels you have a number of stages, say 55 stages for example.
As the signal goes thru the system there are feedback loops at the stages that are prime numbers. By the time all of this happens you will never play long enough to see it repeat.
