Question About Bots

I see a lot of people complaining about the amount of bots they have at there cash games and they're impossible to beat. These complaints make me very confused. I haven't played with any bots so idk if this logic makes sense but wouldn't be easier to make money vs bots? They follow a specific program that tells them exactly what to do in certain spots. Wouldn't this make them very exploitable and easy to make money off of. Can someone clear this up because its very confusing to me.

bog standard bots are nothing to worry about for specific players as they are pretty rudimentary except that they are abloe to beat the typical fish who just play for fun . As such they are taking that money out of the pool available for players who have worked on improving their game.
Advanced bots programmed by high stakes players however will be able to beat micro and low stakes players and never make mistakes , misclick , get tired or tilt , they just churn out winnings for their programmer.

Some ppl say that it's very hard to build a good one even tho it's true they are spreaded all over poker sites and the owners say that totally legit to have them on the tables...donno what to think about it to be honest but i'm trying to keep my hands off cash games cause the most of bots are placed there

Very easy to beat heads up, but the more players at the table the harder to beat. It alters the play of everyone at the table. i.e. you may know how to beat it by timely 3bets and check raises etc, but others in the hand who are unaware will "**** block" you (that's just a term I use when playing a bot lol)...

I have ALOT of bot experience...;)

Edit: *Oops, didn't know that word(****) would be censored, my bad

Don't play all-ins with players that you suspend of "botism". They play worse postflop. If you met PS bot, he usually wins 90% of coinflips.

Many times I hear about these bots, but I think still have never played with them))I think that if they have something they play in cash games in large amounts,is the most realistic way to test a bot or not is to write to him and see will he reply or not?if not then 90 % of that is bot

the probability that there are robots in poker rooms is very high but must keep in mind that these sites are monitoring both by companies that guarantee to do everything correct also pokerstars charges a fee for each hand of money and each tournament that is played

First let me say, I'm not asking to be convinced either way, I have my own beliefs and they are set in stone...I'm merely trying to spark conversations and hear other players personal opinions, or even experiences.
After reading thru numerous threads, I've seen a lot of different opinions on the subject of online poker room bots. Some people believe wholeheartedly they do exist, some argue it's paranoia and demand proof, or say they are banned and can no longer be used, etc... Some even welcome the usage of bots, stating they are easily beatable, some say otherwise...

I'm just interested in everyone's input, before I add my own.

Thanks in advance for reading/participating :)

What poker sites use bots? And Pokerstars too?

These are a few sites that I can verify, but I haven't tried all of them, or PS

Good talk...

IMO, not yet...

i don't think there are bots...YET! i fail to believe that there is a program or algorithm that is perfect enough to be consistently profitable. especially against players who play professionally, there are too many variables beyond the math to calculate for.

Oh, there are bots, and there are amazingly detailed programs ...see my file image above...that is a list of poker sites that bots are compatible with. I know from experience. And that image is not the only proof I have.

You shouldn't be confused at all . Where there is smoke there is fire . If there are complaining about bots be sure there are . It's not some micro players that are talking about this , many high stakes players also have been arguing about this . In addittion , some bots have very simple programme that can be defeated , with some very predictable 3bets so they are not the problem . But many others , usually on high stakes they are the problem , from what I have read , since they have a very good programme and following a specific program that tells them exactly what to do doesn't make them exploitable and easy to make money off cause they are programmed very well, based on game theory play rules and most important they play so aggressively they push your chips in the pot , so on the long run they are th winners . There are many scandals with bots , even in pokerstars (see omaha high stakes russian bots) but there they cover it up very well . I play tournaments , rarily micro cash games , so I don't care so much about bots :) . Cheaters there are everywhere :)

This is why I only play live poker. You don't have to worry about playing against bots.

I think that they are. If not bots, then all the same some intervention in the program are because this CASINO. And the casino is ready for making profit for the owner. Therefore in case of a large number of players and frequent change of tables it is heavy to understand that it is a bot, luck/bad luck, natural accident, a successful/unsuccessful bluff, impudent moving or... You shouldn't puzzle, it is necessary to derive pleasure from a game and communication and if carries - from a victory. All of good luck

At first, I was skeptical about the fact that there are bots. Now, I believe in them.

I really wanted to take this doubt, it will be even if there is a boot that is programmed to always beat the human beings players who are playing there on a daily basis. I have in mind that there was a yes, because then it is an online site and the company will always want to profit on it. of this must have several boots more do not know if they identify the player make sure that they have played with the boots this can play the company in court because they are always made to win with any hands they enter the software will always give better cards to them both pre flop and post flop ....

I have the same idea, there will always be an error in your game since it is predetermined its trigger in each situation which makes it predictable and exploitable
