EmilyWT on Global Poker, America's Cardroom, and Replay Poker. One time another player asked me what the "WT" stood for and I told him that it was my initials. I looked it up later because it seemed like a strange question, and apparently "WT" is slang for "white trash". LOL!! I think that he might know me.

Yes there is a kind of meaning behind mine.
lau (diminutive of my first name Laurence)
est ( that means "is" in my native language)
la (that means "here" or "there" in my native language)
So Lauestla means in fact that I am here

I think the reason I have chosen Darth Jewel is obvious.
But I also use other names, my favorite one is LoriJo
after a Hollywood actress Lori Jo Hendrix.
I bet no one has heard about her, as she did not play in many movies,
but for me she is a symbol of thousands of actors and actresses who,
although did try hard, ultimately did not reach the status of 'rich and famous'.
Which leads to the question what make an actor to became famous, but that is the topic for another thread.

One of my names was a nick given to be by an ex partner that stuck. Another one was a misunderstanding of a TV ad campaign that I found amusing. The only other one I've used I carried with me from early play money games and no longer makes much sense.
