The online poker world has a lot of benefits. It's fast and you can play a wide variety of games at the click of a button.

I love online gambling, but I do see where it could be boring if not otherwise entertained as you would be watching other players at a live table. Hint, I watch YouTube, Hulu, or Netflix while waiting for my turn to popup. I probably wouldn't do this if playing higher dollar tourneys, or cash game poker, but it's the perfect solution for freerolls, and micro tourneys where patience is king, and you're not concerned with what the other players are doing.

I love playing online. It takes me 2.5 hours to get to the closest casino, but that's gonna change to 10 mins in about 9 months. I can't wait!

If you think that online poker is boring, you can try to play few heads-up tables simultaneously.

Both online and live poker have some pros and cons
In online you play much more hands
In offline you get the fun

Let me put it this way so everyone could get what i was trying to say !
if someone came up to me and said if you could play either live poker or online poker for the rest of your life , i would definitely choose live poker without giving it a second thought . its just more fun for me !
although i have been following some of what you guys suggested and im enjoying playing online more than before , maybe seeing it's perks helped :)

Let's see:

OnLine Benefits V Live Benefits

On you get to use your own bathroom.
Live you have to share with 1000's.

On you get to smoke whatever you choose.
Live you can't even smoke a cigarette anymore.

On you can sit around in whatever state of undress you care too.
Live you have to wear presentable clothes mostly.

On you can mute and ignore everyone.
Live you can't without earplugs or blinders on.

On there are no idiot pit bosses or dealers.
Live good luck concentrating especially in blackjack if you start winning.

On you know what liquor you are being served.
Live you only think you do.

On there are no crappy servers to tip.
Live there are only acceptable servers sometimes.

On you can order any food you want or cook.
Live you get what they offer and lucky.

On when the Full Tilt hits you can shut the computer off.
Live you can blow up and go broke quick.

On you can have stress relief (sex) or watch porn during slow games.
Live you go to jail.

Maybe it's true. But it is also true that online poker opens the doors to many players who find it difficult to get to live poker tournaments. It is true that the excitement of seeing your opponent face to face is lacking, but to hang out, practice, learn and have fun, online poker is fine for me.:cool:

Online poker is very good, you can play it from anywhere in the world and in any corner of the house or in the office at leisure! Live poker is more real and it is special to play with friends and share some very cold beers!

He nailed it ! Enough said ! Also I am in a wheelchair so the ability to play on my own bed with my laptop and my chosen music playing while drinking cold beer directly from the fridge is in valuable.

I enjoy playing online poker as well as playing live poker. But playing live poker with friends turns out to be less and less every year.

I do like playing live better than online but the options to play live are so limiter its not funny. I cant afford to go to the casino and play the $250 or more tournaments on the weekends. Driving 2 hours each way does not help. Playing with friends is rare these days and only playing 2 times a year sucks. While i love live I dont find online boring. I actually love online as well. There are differences for sure but boring is not one of them.

Мне нравится играть в онлайн-покер, а также играть в живой покер. Но играть в живой покер с друзьями с каждым годом становится все меньше и меньше.

I think online poker is the future, but I don’t like it. People completely stopped communicating live.

Sure you can have Interaction between players, I often start chatting on-line with other players, O.K. It is a little harder as you have to type your conversation out but you can still have fun.
I also miss the live games because I played weekly at our local pub, with guys that turned up every week and did strike up a few friendships through the game, and I miss the crack but with this pandemic we need to be careful, and especially as both my Wife and I have medical conditions that could prove fatal if we contracted Corona virus.
Once in an on-line game I was chatting to another player and remarked I seemed to be getting garbage hands all the time, and just then was dealt 7/2 of clubs , I said to him "Oh! look 7/2 again" no one raised and the flop gave me 3 clubs on the flop, So had made my 7 high flush,
I checked and as it went around the table one player bet and everyone folded to me, I called thinking he may have a better flush but was interested to see how far he would go.
The turn and river dropped 2 red cards and this guy bet out on all 3 streets with a bigger bet on the river. I typed out "Look you either have me beat or not" I shoved all-in and he called with 2 pair.
The chat box went Berserk when I typed out "I told him I only had 7/2 lol"

When the Fun Stops, STOP!

I really like online poker, with online poker you have the possibility to play with people from all over the world, in addition to the player being able to play at several tables, in short I love playing online. But I understand the player who prefers to play live.

Online poker is not boring

I don't think there is anything quite like the rush of winning a giant pot with a straight when somebody pushed all in with a low pair. Online poker is not boring!!:D

Poker online takes away the most fun aspect of the game out of it , human interaction ,...
That was a big part of it for me too. Being a very solitary person to begin with, I looked forward to driving down the highway on Sundays to Foxwoods in Ledyard CT to play in the 9:00 am tournament. I really enjoyed being around what came to be familiar and friendly faces, and I miss them dearly because I really owe all of them a lot.

When I began going in October of 2018 it was not only to begin a new pastime, but to also begin a major change in my life. The players, dealers, supervisors, cage workers, and waitresses all made me feel at home and made it easy for me to leave my worries and nervousness behind. They accepted me as just another person who loves to play cards, and for that they will always have my gratitude, and I will always be in their debt. Online is nice, and has helped my improve my play, but it can never do what those personal connections have done for me.
