How long do you stay on the same table and why? When do you decide to leave?

Usually I see people play for 50 hands and leave not sure if they are switching tables or just done. 50 hands on 1 table is not much, it's equivalent to 30min in 6-max.

If I win a lot or am losing and playing bad, I leave.

Sometimes I’ll join a cash game while I’m waiting for a tournament to start. Once the tournament starts, I’ll usually quit the cash game.

Another reason I may quit that cash game is maybe the variance is not so good for me, so then I’ll quit that one and try another and see how it goes.

i will happily sit at the same table (...9 handed hopefully...i suck at 6 handed...) for 5 hours+...as long as it doesn't break up. You get to know your oppos better...sure..they get to know you better too...but you must be variable...unpredictable.

Don’t play a lot of cash games myself but when I do I like to search the other players at my table to see how many tables they are playing, this will help me decide to stay for a while or leave for greener pastures.:icon_bigs

50 hands is usually enough to tell if playing at a table is a waste of time. There may not be enough action and it may be reg-heavy. If table is looser and I am getting decent cards to play with, I will stay for as long as I can.

Я предпочитаю играть в зуме ) там очень быстро меняются столы ) играть за обычным столом на микролимитах не очень интересно я думаю

The reasons can be different for a short game on cash tables. But the main thing is probably that the player, realizing that his game tactics become known to the rest of the players at the table, leaves for another table.

I play for like a good hour. Sometimes I'll make it short if I reach my winning goal for that session and cash it out so I can build my bankroll.

I stay rarely longer than one hour in a cash game ( I prefer 6max). Often just only for 10 minutes. Try to make early wins and leave with cash in my pocket. If I stay longer I will loose it again. If I have time, I play tourneys

The key to being a winning cash game player is maximizing the amount of time you play vs inferior competition and minimizing the amount of time you play vs superior competition.

Read that again.

Slowly.

I will stay at a table as long as I think I have an edge over most of the other players. If I win a godd amount, I will play keep playing as log as i am winning. I will get up if I lose a third of my profits.

1 hand to 10 hours. Somewhere in that range lol. There are so many factors that affect this decision. Generally though, this is rule #1--if it's a tough table with good players I don't stay long. If it's a bunch of donkeys rebuying and tilting I like to stay as long as possible.
