the point is , something is wrong with your game ,you may not be new to the game ,but we hear the same stories and complaints from newbies everyday, like some said there are millions of sucessful players and many are right here.your post sounds silly to them because they know better,and they were just trying to show you that in their own smartass way. it's obvious you are depressed and that is playing a part in your continued bad luck.take a break ,read some posts,read some books and come back to the game with a better attitude and I'm sure you will see it in a different light.good luck.

I started out playing just for laughs, and if I made a dollar I was thrilled. I have improved to the point where I make quite a lot of dollars, but poker is still mostly my relaxation after a day`s work. It`s recreation, and not primarily about money.

Recently, I`ve done the figures and realised that, if my results continue to improve at the same rate (not guaranteed of course), there will come a point when I will have to think about whether it is worth my while to carry on with the day job, or whether I would do better to play poker full time.

I know a lot of poker players dream of turning pro, but I`d rather be like you, and I doubt I`ll go that road. Work is work and play is play. Poker is a game and should be fun. Treating it as just a source of money spoils that.

In all the ways that matter, you`re as big a winner as I am.
