I think he was referring to the random number generator (RNG) anyway!I don't really believe much in algorithms for poker right now, although I do believe in chess and checkers for example.
Poker is a game with too many situations, I think it would be different from black jack because, for example, the algorithm could do a card count.
But in poker you have all kinds of players at a table in an MTT, let alone cash.
No matter how many plays were collected in terabytes, for example, if a player has to say AJ a move and the Algorithm has A10 and they see a flop and the flop is 3 - 4 - 6, the algorithm should analyze among all the information that the player has made in those millions of plays that occurred in this situation, and not all of them were the same. One bluffed, the other did all in, another a miniraise, another a 3 bet another checked and no, all the plays turned out the same way either.
I really think that if a chess player like Kasparov could face the machine and beat him in a game as structured and with visible movements as chess, I also think that, for example, Daniel Negreanu or Phil Ivey, for example, would beat him too, except that they will have a night of bad luck hahaha
Greetings friend
I thought that way too!One question:
Do you mean the Random Number Generator behind the distribution of cards or any strategy/algorithm one as a player applies to the game?
Because people seem to misunderstand quite a bit, in case the you mean the RNG
thanks for your attention and help.@

On the other hand, there are some ways to use algorithms for poker, not in a good or bad way, but it is possible to set up.
They can be GTO-based (I believe it is exclusively for heads-up) or not.
Being a GTO, they will probably search a database with pre-fabricated results, otherwise it would take centuries to do the calculations.
If you're curious, check out the links below:
GTO (english)
No GTO (portuguese)

@yuriko oyama
The worst thing is that I looked through my history and didn't find what I mentioned about the man who worked his whole life for casinos and betting/poker platforms.
He had a very didactic explanation and simple to understand.
I will continue the search...
But I also don't believe it's something otherworldly to find out about it.
this random number generator, because I analyze that tournaments must have an x time to end.One question:
