I hate playing online i like homegames/casinos but the scene died down in recent years and i live a couple hours from nearest casino so back to playing online
I've never played in a casino so online games are fine with me since I can just log in and play whenever I want. That convenience factor is huge for me.
For sure the live scene has reopened, now that COVID-19 restrictions are lifted in most places? I have always played online, but for sure there are things, it can not deliver like table chatter and the whole casino environment.
Actually i like it online more, because there is a lot of amateurs and i can profit from the fact. In real life games are more risky since most of them are pro players and makes it hard to win.
The network format has many advantages. First of all, security. No need to go anywhere. You can play at any time and place, provided you have a stable Internet connection. Although there are also many disadvantages. Because if there is a casino nearby, you can sometimes go there.
I play online because I don’t have casino near my place of living. When Ever I have chance I play live, because there is no better feeling. Interaction with other players, looking for signs of bluff, weakness or strength, trying to hide my own tells, adrenaline rush… etc. Clicking buttons can’t give you satisfaction like playing live. So my recommendation is for everyone, play live when ever you can.
I only play online, I've never been to a live casino. My girlfriend doesn't like my hobby. I hope that someday she will come to terms with this and we will visit the casino together
I’ve never played live and am nervous I’d break some unspoken etiquette rule at the table. But would love to get over my fear and give it a try some day.

There's nothing to it. Really. Just tell them it's your first time to do live play and then put your knowledge to work. They'll soon know you do know the game. LOL. Most folks you will meet are very cordial.
online poker and live poker each have their pros and cons.
Live poker has a huge plus - live communication, as well as here you need to know psychology and mathematics.
In online poker, this is comfort and you only need to know math)).
I agree with you, I prefer to play live too, but in my city there is no option to play live poker. I don't hate to play online, but live is so much better.
