I don't the games are intentionally rigged in the sense of giving you worse cards on purpose because that would make the company liable to millions, even billions, in lawsuits. What happens is that the house has better odds than the players in most, if not all, games it holds. After millions of games being played, statistics play in favor of the house and they can profit.
Poker is a game where you can outplay other people and that is how it can be lucrative if you are skilled enough, but other than that it's best to keep away from
gambling.
