i think a cash games is easier to win some money.

for first: you play with same players for most of time so you can read it, make notes,
second: blinds are the same for all the time,
third one : you can choose a table with weak players, then is easier playing with them, not with a sharks.
fourth: you need to win a less all in pots to win a nice money,

Cash is more consistent. But if you manage to win an MTT it's a huge injection of cash. I like to play cash games in general, but to play a couple of tournaments with profits. The variance is so much higher in tournaments.

Of course, tournaments are more profitable, besides that, in tournaments there is action and you win much more for a small buy-in.

I believe that it is possible to win both just by playing and feel comfortable, because the psychological factor affects the game a lot. If you enter a low stakes tournament, however, your bankroll is compatible only with micro stakes, the fear of losing that Buy In without reaching the ITM consumes the player and ends up losing the tournament quickly the same amount to the cash game, You have the bank to play NL25 with 100BB but go and risk playing NL100 it is certain that you will be the whale on the table and you will leave with nothing, because you are not used to the metagame and end up feeling pressured and make bad decisions by playing bad hands.

if you like and know how to play cash then cash is profitable- if you know how to play tournaments, then it's for you. simple like that.

First, you need to understand all the ins and outs of poker and be able to play it, and then decide for yourself what format is the most profitable for you.

Hey,
I think that there is no general answer to your question here. For a game to be profitable for a player, he has to master it at first or at least show an edge on the average player in that game.
I mean, it depends on the player's ability to beat the average player in that game and most importantly that the game stakes are within the player's bankroll limits.
For me, these are the FIRST steps for a player to determine if a game is profitable for him or not.

In online games, the most famous are cash games and tournaments, which one does the community recommend that they are the most profitable or in other words which one do we get the most money from?
More money can be made at once trough tournaments, but cash games offer mostly a steady amount that you will win everyday. But by playing tournaments you will probably don't make money till there comes a big amount one time.
But most players are losing players anyway.

There is a very noticeable difference between cash and MTT, and it is that if you don't know how to play for money, you will end up losing everything, while in tournaments, even if you play poorly, you can win a prize, if variance is on your side, in my opinion it is more profitable but only when you learn how to play
In my opinion, cash games and tournament poker are very different. Let's say I don't know how to play for money at all. This is a completely different strategy. It doesn't suit me. There is no way to act)

It's possible to make more money from tournaments at once, but cash games offer basically a constant amount that you'll win every day. But when playing tournaments, you probably won't make money until a large sum comes in one day.
But most players still lose.
If you play well and correctly, you will be a good plus at a distance. Both in cash games and MTT. MTTs have a high variance.

Tournaments are for romantics, cash is for practitioners. I think that cash is more profitable because there is much more rakeback.

That would depend on how much time you want to be at the tables for. Tourney play can last for hours. Where as a cash game you can make your own mind up how long you wish to play for

I prefer tournaments, not because I'm going to win a lot or lose a little, everything will depend on the day and your patience, good luck, remembering that greed is the enemy of your success, hugs

I think if you will play good, then you can win more in tournaments, because the prizepool is big and probably it's a bit easier, because a lot of people are playing, some of them regs, but mostly amateurs at any limit...But if you will go and play cash NL200-400-500 you will suffer a bit from the regs, because there are not so many amateurs there. I don't say, that weaker players don't play high limit cash, but I think that this field could be occupied by regs and it would be not so easy to become on of them. Anyway if you will patiently improve your game, then you will earn money in any discipline (y)

I personally prefer tournaments. Tournaments are more profitable for me primarily because of our freerolls. And I am very grateful to our community for that. Cash games have always been very difficult for me and therefore brought me only losses.

Of course it helps to play better than your oppenents but in tournaments it also takes time to cash (and that isn't even much money). You need to stay alive the whole time to win a huge amount.

I tried cash game and MTT format, my soul went to tournaments. In MTT tournaments there is an element of competition and strategy, although sometimes it takes a very long time to win. For me, it's better to win once, but a lot than to play cash games monotonously.

Hello!
I don't think it's possible to give a 100% correct answer. Just choose what you like.

online - tournaments are more profitable. A larger % of bad players (vs. the player pool) can be found in tournaments vs. Cash games.

I play only in tournaments and they bring me the main profit. I don't play cash games because they are too complicated for me.
