So I've been looking around here, there are a few freerolls and a few real money tournaments. I don't know about other people, but I'm from the US and have money on fulltilt. The best deal I can find for depositing is epassporte which takes $5 per $100 you deposit. I didn't know if there was anyone (someone reputable) that had accounts on both that could handle small transfers (I just recently saw a $5+$0.50 tourney on ultimatebet, so I could send $5.50 to whoever on fulltilt, and after they get that they could send $5.50 to my ultimatebet account, and that would avoid me having to pay $10.50 just to play in a $5+$0.50 tourney). That would be very helpful, didn't know if it'd be possible. Thanks.

Without any disparagement intended, CC frowns on xfer requests or exchanges.

We don't know you. In time we hope we do.

There have been some unfortunate incidents which have caused us to nix these requests.

I realize you don't know me, and it would be stupid to take a risk. But were I to send the money to you first, once you receive it and have confirmed that you got it THEN you sent it to me on the other site, would you be risking anything? That's the reason I asked about a reputable person, because otherwise I'd be afraid of getting ripped off. Either way though, I can understand. I'll just stick to the freerolls on non-fulltilt sites and I may deposit again on pokerstars, but for now I'm loving that 100% deposit bonus, and I'm going to play as much as I can there until it expires so I can clear as much as possible.

I am still new to this board but already have been learning a lot about various poker strategies. It's one thing to read about something in a book, but quite another when you actually see it happen, and when you have to adapt your game to players online which may play very different from most players you'd play with live. Hopefully I'll continue to be semi-active here because although you can't think that long and discuss that much before making a play, there is a benefit to discussing hands and sometimes there's no one right answer. That's what makes the game of poker so great IMO. Really easy to learn, not hard to learn the basic strategy, but you can never be good enough that you can't take some more advice or analyze what you may have done wrong. That's where forums like this come in, I never even thought of something like this. I was just browsing for poker stuff on google and wham, ran into this site. From the level of advice I'm seeing it seems like I am on the low end of the poker knowledge curve here, although I consider myself a generally solid player, and I'm always working to get better. I'm still young (18) and I'm hoping I can improve with a mixture of discussions here on other hands and posting some of my own hands. Anyway, I just went on a really long tangent. Sorry about that, but hope to see y'all around.
