It depends on what type of player you are and how you like the KO tournaments. It's true that you can win money quickly there with the Kos, but you also run the risk of flying out of the tournament faster because you play a bit more aggressively there than in regular tournaments. It is also a matter of taste, one goes for KO and the other goes back to the regular tournaments. See what you enjoy the most and then play that

I much prefer knockout games. But as others have said you do run the risk of being knocked out earlier due to more aggressive play. But I have done well playing this format and have grown a decent bankroll.
Play a few games and see how you do. Good luck.

I think that KO tournaments in microlimits are difficult to handle, players are very risky focused only on getting the reward for elimination, for me they have been frustrating in some cases, but if you want good action and rewards for elimination I recommend you play the Kick-off tournaments. Greetings, I hope you find it profitable

Yes knockout tournaments are very good, you can quickly get back the money you paid for the entry and don't wait for prizes, you can try no limit hold'em there are big prizes if you are at the final table

I prefer KOs because even without reaching paid places I'm getting some money back for a few KOs. Usually getting tournament but in back by KOs and that's good. Still need a lot of practice how to do better.

Recently played KO for $1.1. Knockouts earned 3.6 and 3.5 for a prize place. But I was close to the final table. Ranked 24th place

KO tournaments are my favorite tournaments. You can win something quickly. However, you must remember that players in such tournaments take more risks than in other tournaments, play sensibly and the profit will come. :)

PKOs are more popular these days than traditional MTTs, and for that reason even the Sunday Million has been changed to a PKO. But even so I think, its best for new players to start with regular games. The reason is, PKOs are more complex, so its a bit like trying to run, before you have learned to walk. For the same reason I also think, its better to begin with SnGs rather than large MTTs.

I want to learn how to play them . KO tourneys seem fun , a lot of aggression , all going for the bounties . Although they call ATC , especially the very big stacks , fold equity to zero lol

I would recommend that you play the kind you feel comfortable with. People underestimate how important that is. When you feel uncomfortable, you tend to tilt more often.

I can say that is my favourite format. Risky play is my style.

I also play knockout tournaments, a couple of knockouts and the buy-in is beaten off, this is a good choice!

I think KO tournaments are extremily fun to play. Love the the fact that we can get out pay-in only with the KO cash, and the heavy payouts are also tempting. I still playing only the micro stakes, but keep going on a tight play is my strategy, In these kind of tournaments, the chances of upgrading my bankroll is far more factible than the sit and go micro stakes multi table, that I also like to play, but only for the fun and practice.
