Over $100 but under $200. I dont think that's too bad. I've been playing on that for about 10 years now. I do play a lot of free rolls and am down to .58c right now..
Go online Poker!!! We're here to make it fair for all.
I have deposited $50 on ACR when I first started to play Poker with real money online and it turned into $0 after few months. Then I deposited $50 into Ignition Casino and reached $300 in few weeks but due to poor bankroll management I went back to $50.
Now I have been playing poker both online and live for 1 year. I deposited $40 in GGPoker 2 months ago and now I am at $200 playing 5NL.
You just need proper bankroll management but remember no bankroll management skills would save a losing player.
So far I have deposited $25, with the deposit bonus of GG Poker (worth 40 USD in playing tickets) I managed to make 33 USD out of them.
Been playing the daily $0.25 free spin of GG Poker as well, have made around $30 out of those in a couple of months.
Now starting to play cash games at micro stakes, and grinding my bankroll up to around ~$100.
I hope I can keep improving and grind up to higher stakes.
Never deposited a single red cent on any site, I find that the free-rolls can and do create a small bank-roll, and from there you can build up if you are sensible with your buy-ins.
I once built a small bankroll on another site of £156.00 but they stopped playing poker and transferred my money to their sports betting site which I stay well away from as I do not like to Gamble on any game that is easy to rig, and I believe where there is a lot of money to be made there will be Boxers and Football players willing to throw games etc, So I withdrew all the money and left.
For me Poker is a pastime I enjoy because I am betting on Myself and my ability to play well, and not relying on any third party.
re: How much money did you "deposit" into Online Poker Sites?
I’m even scared to remember how much I spent on online poker. I believe that poker is more of a gamble than an intellectual one. After a loss, you want to immediately recoup, at a time when you need to take a break and calm down. But, excitement and tilt win.
My if I was able to count the times I deposited at the beginning of my bankroll it was quite money because at the beginning I didn't know how to deal with the softer and I didn't know there were freeroll tournaments a long time ago, but now I deposit to open a new account in a new site that I loved, give deposit to be able to use the site because each site has its peculiarities.
I’m surprised I haven’t seen more people say “zero” and then brag about repeated bullshit withdrawals because of all the people on this forum who are convinced you can build a bankroll on freerolls alone.
I am depositing very often. I won almost 200$ on pokerdom, so when I wanted to withdraw, there were problems with it, billing of does not matter. I could stay with my money one day, on second i lose everything
In total I have deposited $300 in on line poker and burned it all in about 120 hours of playing. But I've made over 100% return on my crypto currencies-so I'm not hurting as it did more than wipe out my poker losses. Next time, no cash games-strictly multi table sit&go tournies.
I've made a couple small deposits at 888, one a couple years ago for their first deposit bonuses (and to play the depositor only freerolls), and another when I accidentally busted my bankroll in the casino, but I found a good bonus code online for that one too
My son gave me a Visa gift card for $100 Cdn and I put in another $100...that's $200 Cdn over 12 or so years...I don't want to put too much into online play because I like to play live poker when I am on vacation. Constant losing online might detract from my fun.
I play poker primarily for fun and I have accounts in several poker rooms where there are enough freerolls so I don't have to top up with bankroll deposits to be able to play. This is primarily due to CardsChat, which organizes many great tournaments for us. Thank you very much for that. I also received some tickets at various promotions, so occasionally I play some tournaments with a larger prize pool.
So far, I have been making minimum deposits in a couple of poker rooms. This would be a condition for withdrawal. Unfortunately I do not live in a stable and orderly state and in the last year I have been denied the right to play in several poker rooms. From Bet-at-home and HighStakes (they ceased to exist) they allowed me to withdraw funds without an initial deposit, and at PartiPoker and Unibet I had to deposit a minimum amount to make a payout.
I was informed by GGpoker last year by e-mail that I can expect that I will not be allowed to play soon, so I made a minimum payment, as it is a condition for withdrawal. This month I created an account at William Hill and made a minimum deposit (I think that was a condition for me to be able to play freerolls).
I deposited less than $100. I paid out approximately $2.300.
I used to constantly invest in pokerstars for $ 10-20 every month, and constantly lost somewhere around $ 200, then other new rooms appeared and I won back all my money on freerolls in 1 year, and now I am already in the black.
When I started playing at ACR in January of 2020 I made a credit card deposit of $60 ($54 into my bankroll, and a $6 fee). I've been playing micro MTTs in the $0.50 - $4.00 range with most of them $2.50 or under. Sometime last year I withdrew my initial $60 along with $40 extra, and since then have been playing with what I have won.
The hardest thing about being a trans-woman is trying to learn how to not enjoy The Three Stooges. I've failed miserably. LOL!!
There is nothing better than finding FREE! Money, ask any Dumpster diver, Metal Detectorist, or Storage Hunter! Playing Poker for free and winning is just as good. Any one who tells you that you have to invest money to make money has never played a free-roll, You can win and go on winning, without spending a penny.
A few honest replies about depos.....and the usual fantasy fairy tales.
Especially loved the one guy who said “Max I think 150 bucks” but claims to have pulled over 10k. Sure.
This is as diverse a crowd as ANY forum I’ve ever been part of. Mentioned plenty of other forums from the past.......NOBODY ever claimed their whole roll was freeroll built. NOT ONE PLAYER ever claimed to be able to build a bankroll (talking a bankroll. Not $10. Not $15. Enough to actually bring to a casino and sit down and buy in on a real table) exclusively on freerolls.
You have players in this place claiming big big wins in freerolls and others who don’t understand that aces occasionally get cracked.
You have players who claim to have never made a deposit ever but pull big WD’s on the reg at the same time you have notices for League games with $1 buy ins.
Diverse diverse crowd. A newbie floating through this place might actually believe some of the bullshit stories being offered up are legit
I’ve depo’d plenty of times.
Made WD’s. Sorry but no big big 5k ones
Busted out plenty and had to restart.
Had aces cracked. And had shit hands get there on the River.
But that’s because I’m a real player. With real experiences. Real highs and real lows. That happens when you play online and are truthful about results.
