How many tables?

Since I'm from germany, I can usually only play four tables at the same time. I'd prefer 6 if I could

I play poker for fun.
For me, this is not my main source of income.
That's why I prefer quality over quantity.
For the sake of interest, I tried to play 5-6 tables, but the result was bad. Weak concentration and stupid loss of chips)
If two tournaments I'm interested in take place at the same time, I can play them. But I never connect more tables.

I think the number of tables you can play successfully at once is age related, the older you are the less tables you can play at once. I listened to a former pro talk about playing 50 plus tables at once when he was young but he can't do it anymore

Hah, looks like nobody answered the question- OP asked how many games played per day. My max is 31 and my average is 6.7. Lately I've been playing 2 at a time and 4 per day total. Game time is average about 40 minutes, so like 80 minutes total

You have to start with 1 table to establish your game level then add 1extra game at a time until your level drops off. I can manage up to 3 comfortably 4 is too hectic. The more you multi-table the more tables you can add.

I prefer to play tournaments, so 2 are optimal, and maybe even maximum, cause need to track each hand for to have last information about players for your tables.
Same picture i am watching on poker's streams, different players by skills prefer 2 tables maximum on tournaments. When they plays on 3 tables, it not continung for long..

Many tables I used to play on the past , most of them were freerolls , playing for fun , it was a disaster . I also used to play for fun more than 10 cash tables micro stakes when I started , complete failure . PS restricted my max number of tables for some time , because I was sitting out all the time due to not being quick enough .

Now I play very few , 1-3 main tables , some other freerolls , not caring so much for the freerolls (compared to buyin tables) so no problem if I make mistakes or play loose there

If i m looking for quantity to generate rake towards unlocking a bonus usually 12 tables.
if i m looking for quality around 4-6, maybe even 1 if its a big buyin and i have to be 100% focused.
