People who play high steaks like putting in "TEN THOUSAND or MORE" in one game! What do they do to make sure the power does not go out and they don't lose internet connection? :joyman:

Good question. I don't play that high, but I do need to have constant internet access during a specific period of time.

For me, I have a secondary hotspot that I can use if the internet goes out. I would be interested in hearing other ideas.

UPS - uninterruptible power source
Use it for both your device that runs the online poker client and for your internet connection. Avoid satellite internet. Play on sites that recognize disconnections and that treat them differently than just blowing through your time bank and folding your hand.

Sometimes my internet is a bit dodgy, so I have a mobile hotspot set up as backup internet. And if there's an electricity cut the laptop battery will kick in. So no problem.
